  1. Please!!! Do not waste your time with blue cross bs trs activecare. I live in texas and i am currently employed as an educational diagnostician. I have the same insurance, blue cross no choice!!!! They do not cover vsg!!! It's so frustrating; been there done that. In order to qualifiy you have to meet all of the qualifications for the band and bybass. I tried for the band, but didnt meet the 5 yr weight history for being obese. I also did not have any co morbid issues. I have talked to several insurance reps and they have told me the same info over and over. Good luck!!! Ps they don't even cover the tummy tucks for women who have had c-sections. Well, they do, but they make it so hard that the doctors will not accept you if you have bcbs.
  2. I have people that are telling me not to have weight loss surgery that has had it themselves and were successful. I can't understand why some individuals would discourage ME IN that way. They had it and did fine, so my question is why would they tell me YOU CAN LOOSE IT THE NATURAL WAY!!! I'M SO SICK OF HEARING THAT! WHY DIDN'T YOU LOOSE IT THE NATURAL WAY. SOME PEOPLE ARE SO FULL OF IT!!! I'M JUST SAYIN THAT'S ALL!!!
  3. Ok!! I am a little afraid about going to mexico. The fact of thinking that another doctor won't touch me if i have complications is scary. I can't afford the price here in the us. I know that dr. Aceeves is wonderful but i'm still afraid. Please!! People help me out, I need encouragement.
  4. I'm consideriing surgery with Dr. Aceeves and I'm trying to figure out if I should have the surgery when I'm off for Spring Break or should I wait until I'm off for Summer. Spring Break I'm off for a week. Summer I'm off for 2 months. My job is an office job so I won't be lifting anything. Spring Break is Monday -Friday in March. Would it be bad to go to Mexico during Spring Break time? It's not the same spring break as the college students. I think it's later. I'm very active soI'm not sure about the pain level after the surgery. I'm sure it's different for everyone. I'm thinking I would be more relaxed if I wait until summer. My job involves a lot of paperwork which is mentally draining, it could can be stressful at times. I'm not sure what to do. Oh!! I have a wonderful 2 yr old son that will turn 3 on Valentine's Day. My mom would have to keep him. Please help!!!!! :scared0:
