  1. The best part about being a normal size is not the great vast clothes you can fit into but how you fit into them.

  19. Today I am sugar free 60 days. Best thing I have EVER done. I don't even think about food anymore... unless I'm actually hungry of course.

    1. enjoythetime

      enjoythetime

Wow! That's an amazing accomplishment! Good for you! I may have to try this out. I don't eat much sugar any way but it would be a good thing to eliminate all together! Are you allowing yourself sugar subsitutes?

    2. LilMissDiva Irene

      LilMissDiva Irene

Thanks!! ^_^ doing this is really tough at first, but as time goes on I actually have to think about how long it's been. I just don't touch sugar when the opportunity presents itself, and it does quite often. I do use substitutes in my drinks, like coffee, or the SF Crush or Hawaiian Punch, but that's really the only time. I do eat fresh fruit too but only a half a medium piece every now and then. :) Go for it! You won't be sorry.

I totally agree Jane. It's hard to explain what it's like to be extremely obese and the lies filled in my head for so long that it was okay and pretending that I thought I was attractive. My husband never made me feel any different but inside I was miserable.

I woke up thinking today is a new day and I have so much to be thankful for. I put on a cute new dress paired with some cute blingy shoes and my accessories and headed out the door. I feel so free everyday now. It's amazing. I find myself almost in tears everyday at how great life is.

  22. Sunday I start my pre-op diet. I don't need to start that early but I'm doing so good I don't want to do too much of that "last meal syndrome" stuff. Nothing wrong with going in as healthy as I can either! Gosh I just may be back at goal before surgery... lol
