The best part about being a normal size is not the great vast clothes you can fit into but how you fit into them.
-
If you feel that the sky's the limit then you're forgetting an entire vast Universe of success.

I was blessed today with someone I know telling me my story inspired her sister to lose 100 Lbs so far. It was a lovely thing to hear.

Life without Reflux is nice. Life with the Bypass is wonderful.
-
I see no one post articles in the plastic surgery section. I will have to make it a point to post my journey there when I get to that

When you lose weight, you gain confidence. Do not be embarrassed of this! It is okay to feel good about ourselves and our accomplishments.
-
@proudgrammy that's right! Reflux is history

I am constantly amazed at how awesome the bypass has been for me. I'm happy, healthy and getting my life back.

I am graduating to soft foods today. I had some breakfast burritos I made in the fridge. It has eggs/sausage/beans/spanish rice and cheese inside. I ate 3 bites and I am now full... oh joy!!!

1. Acknowledge the problem. 2. Analyze it. 3. Create a problem solving plan of action. 4. Implement the plan of action. 5. Modify as necessary.

Be kind to yourself always, you can either be your own best cheerleader or your own worst enemy.

The world isn't all black and white people! Calm down and live your life, even if it doesn't "fit in" with other people ideas of who you should be.

Today I am sugar free 60 days. Best thing I have EVER done. I don't even think about food anymore... unless I'm actually hungry of course.
-
Thanks!! doing this is really tough at first, but as time goes on I actually have to think about how long it's been. I just don't touch sugar when the opportunity presents itself, and it does quite often. I do use substitutes in my drinks, like coffee, or the SF Crush or Hawaiian Punch, but that's really the only time. I do eat fresh fruit too but only a half a medium piece every now and then. Go for it! You won't be sorry.

Celebrate every single pound you lose! No Lb lost deserves more of a goodbye than any other.
-
What can you do today to make yourself feel beautiful?
-
Sunday I start my pre-op diet. I don't need to start that early but I'm doing so good I don't want to do too much of that "last meal syndrome" stuff. Nothing wrong with going in as healthy as I can either! Gosh I just may be back at goal before surgery... lol

Rest in Peace to the incomperable Maya Angelou. Your writings teach us to be kind and considerate to everyone else, yet strong and willing to take that extra step in our lives. Your legacy lives on in those of us who followed your work forever.

I did not eat any sugar over the holiday even though I specifically told myself that I could. I think this is probably the biggest NSV I've ever had.
