Ok whats wrong with me ! LOL

Everyone's body drops the weight differently! Sounds like yours is probably coming off more your face, arms, etc. Do your pants feel like they fit better, even if you haven't changed sizes? I've been wearing the same size jeans for the last 30 pounds or so, myself. The waist has gotten loser and they're gapping at the back now, but my thighs and butt haven't gotten any smaller so I can't go down a size. I had forgotten about this problem when I was at this weight on the way up!

    Optimal Time

I don't know if the procedures are any different where you're going, but I was out of surgery in 30 minutes and home before lunch time the same day, less than maybe 3 hours later. I'm not sure you'd want to travel back home that quickly, but if you've got a comfy hotel room to go to, and especially if you've got someone with you to help out, I'd see no reason for that long. (Save for any complications you may encounter, of course!) Good luck with your upcoming surgery!
  3. One last quick update for March! BOOM! Current Weight: 224 Goal weight for March 31st~ 226 Weight on March 1st~ 234
  4. I never knew what my highest weight was. I went for over a year refusing to look at the scale when I was at the dr.'s offlice. Well I found out today that my highest recorded at her office was 331 in November 2012. Wow. I'm only 5'2. How ridiculous how far I'd let myself fall. So that means as of today, I am 105 pounds lighter than I was at my heaviest!

Have you ever lost over 100 lbs before?

Crazy you should post that!! my PCP told me yesterday that my heaviest recorded weight was 363 lbs in 2010. I was speechless. I was thought it was 348 lbs. She shook her head no. Handed the chart. I could not believe my eyes....

@2muchfun Not even CLOSE! I think the most I've ever lost at a time was about 30 pounds but that all piled right back on within a couple of months. @LaBelle509 Isn't it horrifically amazing what we have put our bodies through?

    Pain when drinking?

I had a lot of problems drinking for the first week. I would take a sip, get a horrible tight chest feeling, then a glug glug and it would go down. Once I finally got in to see my surgeon, he accessed my port and found 1cc in the band they hadn't intentionally left there. They fill the band and remove it (although some intentionally leave some in) to check for leaks before they seal you back up. That 1cc was enough to make me too tight. It couldn't hurt to call your surgeon or liaison and let them know you're having probs. Good luck and congrats!
  6. I'm going through some severe non-band related medical problems that have my anxiety levels absolutely through the moon. This is the first time I've ever not had the urge to turn to food AT ALL when I was stressed out, that alone is crazy enough. That being said, I'm having trouble even forcing myself to drink or eat the last two days. It's a blend of mentally having no appetite and physically my band being tighter than normal from the stress. Yesterday I got down a Protein shake in the morning, three chicken nuggets from Wendy's at lunch time, and then about five bites of an omelet at dinner time. Today I've been able to sip some Water, and ate a Protein Bar broken up into two sittings. Food is absolutely revolting to me right now, this is the most insane thing to me ever being the foody I've always been. I know this seems like plenty of food for a lot of you, but for me and my band, this isn't now how we roll together. Any suggestions maybe on things that would be palatable and easy to get down while I'm going through this?
  7. Down 89 pounds! I finally got a fill last Tuesday that I think put me in the green. How is everyone else??

    tortilla.?

Tortillas have been the ONE thing that is such a big no-no for me I won't even try it anymore.
  9. Sometimes, definitely! When we go out to eat and there's this table FULL of awesome looking food and I know good and well I can only eat a fraction of it. There's ALWAYS going to be the 300+ pound girl inside of me that just wants to EAT EAT EAT! Just gotta try to keep her beat down as far as I can most of the time!
  10. Current Weight: 229 Goal weight for March 31st~ 226 Weight on March 1st~ 234 NOW we're talkin' and moving in the right direction! WUT WUT!

    Lets talk Sliders!

Mashed potatoes are my big "problem" slider! I just love them! I still eat them, I just have to be careful to get plenty of protein in first so it can kind of "hold up" the potatoes so they don't just take right on off through.
  12. Think I'm finally in the Green Zone! Since my fill on Tuesday of last week, my hunger has been much more under control than usual, and my meals have been crazy small. I never even knew so little food could ever satisfy me! No PBing, no sliming. This is one happy girl over here!!!

  13. Mine has never had to pick and prod that much for my port with his hands. One time, he did have to poke around inside with the needle a couple of times to hit the right spot on the port...now THAT was painful! But I'm always sore for a day or two afterward, no matter how gentle he was with me. In fact, I just had a fill on Tuesday last week, and I thought it was the most gentle experience fill wise that I've had so far. It was a breeze! But even now days later, I'm still a bit tender and I got a nasty bruise this time. I have a feeling it will be a little bit different each time. As you lose weight and exercise, your port will move around a little bit, and become easier and easier for them to find. So really, I think the word you used is most appropriate. "Uncomfortable" but I've never personally had one that was straight up painful. It's worth it, and don't worry, most of us don't have to have TOO many fills before we hit that sweet spot for a good long while.
  14. Every pound down is a pound of progress! Congratulations, losing a few and starting to get back into the swing of things really motivates you, doesn't it!?

    Can We Eat Popcorn?

No one is saying you should, vissmicki. Whatever's working for you, you just keep on rocking it! Back to the popcorn, I loooooooove the stuff! I just make sure I limit myself to no more than a serving and try to pick the "lesser of evils" calorie wise when choosing a brand/type!
