We LOVE old cartoons in this house and my 6 year old has become a fanatic too! We have bugs bunny, daffy duck, taz and marvin the martian artwork throughout our house!

Right on the wall next to me now is the speechless print you were talking about above...a gift to my hubby...love that one two. Was sad when all the warner brother stores closed....hard to find good artwork now....

Nothing like snuggling on the couch with my little guy (and big guy too) watching old cartoons...my son knows its channel 126 in NY....thats the Boomerang station.

Hang in there...I just had my surgery 2days ago and this site and some wonderful people I met on my lapband journey have made this such a positive experience! I too learned that life doesn't end on the preop diet...in fact being SO compliant helped me lose 20lbs before surgery. But I agree with you with food smelling sooooo good...we get to have it again so that's never a worry!

That is awesome...honestly that is exactly one of my goals...i have a 3 and 6 year old....going to disney soon and dreading it a bit hoping i can ride everything with them...nothing will make me sadder that if i can't!

Hello from a newbie whose closer today to being banded than yesterday....please be sure to come back for newbies such as myself.

For as many "ignorant" people on here, there are an equal or more (i like to think ) number of people who count on people such as yourself to share their story, give their advice, and support. You are an inspiration to me and I dont want to lose the support and advice of "veterans" such as yourself.

So thank you for all you've done in the past and I hope by the time I am banded you are back....and I hope all the other veterans hang around for folks like me!
