2 Weeks Post-Op

blogs/blog-0124595001380770325.jpgIt's been too weeks today and I'm feeling great. I started walking again. Already with just 29 lbs down I am able to walk without my legs/knee killing me, I can tell I have knees and ankles for the first time in years and people are complementing me on my weight loss. I can't really tell but apparently others can. I'm on to mushies tomorrow. I'm ready for something besides thin liquids. I'm 2 lbs away from only needing to lose 100 lbs.

Congratulations!! You must feel so great already. 2 weeks of liquids must have been tough. I only went 4 days liquid, then soft. Those were my doctors instructions. I have strayed from soft a little bit, soft chicken/lentils, even 1/4 grilled cheese. I just chewed to small bits and went real slow. It was fine. Best of luck to you.

So happy for you -- thanks for the inspiration! You are doing beautifully. I am really looking forward to getting banded. Best wishes for great time with the mushies. I am a big fan of steamed and whirred up cauliflower.

Thank you guys. 2 weeks was a long time but I honestly don't think I could have had anything more than liquid before now. I would feel full quickly. The issue was I didn't stay full for long.
