Wouldn't it make sense to make the sections invisible to the opposite sex? Until then, it's going to keep happening.

Heybaby, really, you went back and dug up a month old thread just so you can further instigate a topic that has already been argued to death and caused a great deal of dissension on the forums? Please people, the arguing, name calling, etc. has gone on long enough. Lets get back to what our website is here for, and be supportive of one another instead of jumping from thread to thread to see what new, ridiculous fighting can be brought up with regards to this subject. If you want to keep it up, I will be more than happy to start issuing bans if that is what it takes to bring peace back here.

My friend from an earlier predicament (WTF, am I wrong? thread) just called to see if I was still mad about the incident. I told her Yes!!! And proceeded to tell her some of the things I was told by other sleevers in my own words. She told me that I say that because I'm married and have someone to warm my bed at night. She said shes over fourty and doesn't have that luxury to be so picky! I said very bluntly well no D*ck is worth my self respect and I'm married because my husband knows my worth! (Just like I know his) I also told her she needs to work on her before she worries about who's going to warm her dam bed at night. She hung up on me. I dont get it shes mad at me because I wouldn't lower my standers (granted I'm married) but again, WTF????

So, I'm having lunch with a friend and as we are leaving a nice looking guy come over and and says to me "wow your hawt for a fat girl!!!and asked me for my number. I told him that he so disrespectful and needs to take his no good no class raggedy ass out of my face. My skinny friend thinks I was wrong because he was really cute and gave me a compliment and I'm being over sensitive. Am I ??? Isn't that like saying youd be pretty if you weren't fat .

Congratulations on losing 7 lbs. Your ahead of the game. Goes to show you are definitely ready for this amazing journey. I live in Warminster a little small town 45 minutes outside of Philly. I will be sleeved July 3rd. keep me posted I would love to hear how your doing. Keep up the good work

I agree, no matter how much I lose, I will always be the fat girl inside to, and its me. I will embrace her tho, as she has been with me for many, many of my adult years.

Hi Ladies,
I just had surgery on Monday, June 24, 2013. I'm a conversion from plication with lapband to sleeve. My surgery was fairly extensive but since I've had surgery twice before, I pretty much knew what to expect from recovery. Right now I'm trying to get in as much Protein and liquid as my new tiny tummy will allow. Over the course of the day I usually drink warm tea in the a.m. as that is pretty easy to get down. Then Isopure Clear mixed with Crystal Light. Next, I'll have a Protein Shake probably Bariatric Advantage or Syntrax Nectar. I try to drink Water too. Then I'll have about 1/4 c. of chicken broth, maybe a SF Jello or popsicle. I can only drink about 1/4 c. over about 30 minutes or so. It's very slow going and I've averaging only about 300 calories per day. I've lost quite a bit of weight so I'm sure when I do add more solid Proteins, I'll stall a bit. I'm very happy that my surgery is done and I'm finally on the losers bench! Good luck to everyone!

I'm a week out today, I've been drinking the Premiere Protein from costco and it's like drinking YooHoo boxes!! I also like the Muscle Milk Light, not as much protein but still yummy. It tastes like the milk after you eat cocoa puffs or Coco Krispies

Good luck ladies! Remember what tastes yummy and get a few of those tucked away for when you come home after the surgery. :0)

So I just drank 10 oz of Magnesium Citrate and I have made it through the preop liquid diet and I am on the schedule for 10:45 tomorrow at U of Wisconsin Hospital following first making contact with them in August of last year. I'm excited, ready and at peace with my decision and really feel I have done all I can to be ready for this welcome change. I have learned so much from the boards and I wanted to say thanks again. I know we all are so different and so alike. I am just tired of letting my weight hold me back, restrict my life and influence virtually every decision I make, My time has come. We all have a ton of different reasons that we have a chosen this path. But no matter what those individual reasons are we all share the most important reason and that is we all want be better, better people, and we all feel like this surgery will make us better.
