******** got a reaction from KenneKat in Who Are You?
Hey everyone..my name is Janice, I am 23 years old and I live in Simsbury, CT.
I am graduation from graduate school this Thursday (5/16) and a week later I will be having my surgery (5/23)!! I live with my fiance and our wonderful dog Harley. I have been struggling with my weight since puberty and the past few years I have tried to lose weight and was unsuccessful. The only time I did lose weight was when I put my calorie intake down to 1000 calories per day but with a normal sized stomach that is unmanageable. I exercise 5-6 days per week so at least I have that down. I'm excited to start this new journey ...11 days!!

******** got a reaction from Globetrotter in Weight and body image
Ive noticed the quite opposite. I do not to judge others on their appearance but I have friends who are also overweight and the things they say about thin people are really mean..."skinny bit**" (even though they do not know this person), or call someone anorexic just because they are thin or "real women have curves" sometimes adding "only a dog wants bones"...real women do not judge other women or call men dogs.

******** got a reaction from mysleevemylife in tattoos
Does anyone with tattoos notice a change post surgery? Mine is on my upper back so I'm not sure if it will change. .ex. when my aunt got pregnant her tattoo on her lower belly/hip stretched out, does this happen with weight loss?

******** got a reaction from KhadijahRose in I'm at my goal size!
Aussie do you know her health? It has nothing to do with insurance, a doctor won't operate on you unless you meet criteria. Just because that is her goal doesn't mean that's all she had to lose, maybe she had the Lapband and is getting it removed and wants this to maintain, Maybe she has underlying health issues, or maybe it is none of our business

******** got a reaction from Banned member in Ideas for what to tell people?
Oh yeah I completely agree about the moderator, at least the one in this thread. I thought moderators are supposed to be non biased...instead he/she begun judging me about parenting.
I hope I didn't break any forum rules...I was honestly trying to tell this medling woman that what other people do is none of her business.

The funny thing is almost EVERYONE disagrees with you. When that happens it makes you wonder who is the hard headed ignorant one?

Your husband and daughter are completely different than choosing not to tell people you are not close with. My husband going to a strip club may hurt my feelings and me getting surgery should hurt anyones feelings so it shouldnt matter. Once again we can agree to disagree, everyone is not as candid as you and that doesn't mean they are liars..maybe according to your legal term they are but not according to their morals.
How about u just stop speaking down to me and everyone else on this thread and go live your perfect little life.

So they are liars and you are a hypocrit...and we can agree to disagree. AND just because you believe omission is lying doesn't mean everyone thinks that and until you get your phD in honesty, I cannot side with you
