    Psych eval

Yes the team psych actually has an office within the doctor's office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The drive was good and the visit went great.

    Psych eval

I live 2 hours away from my psych as well, matter of fact I am traveling now to make my very last appointment which is to see them. In my opinion I would travel and make the appointment just to get it over with and get the ball rolling for my surgery instead of prolonging time trying to find someone who will give me an appointment 2 months from now, but everyone is different. Anyways good luck on your journey[emoji173] Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app

    4 days post op

I am experiencing the same thing, that's why I've started reading this forum. I had surgery Friday the 16th. I was thinking Im hungry, full of gas or spasms. I would drink a tap warm cup of Water, pain pill and walk around the house...that seem to help me until the meds wear off. Sent from my SM-G920T using the BariatricPal App
  7. I celebrated my 38th birthday on June 13th and had my second fill. Wasn't able to eat a piece of cake but i am happy to say that I am 50lbs down this week. Yeah, I reached my 50lb mark for my birthday.

  9. Happy 38th Birthday Timey!

  10. Before surgery I had an EDG done to check if I had an hiatal hernia, and of course I did. I was always waking up coughing, choking and gaging. Along with me getting banded, I had the hernia repaired and I have been doing great ever since. I haven't awakened out of my sleep any. So yes, I will make an appointment with my surgeon and make sure you are ok. Best of luck!!!
  11. I am also the 7th of 8 girls, and they all have been so supportive of me. I wouldn't trade them for the world, BUT I no what you are saying...LOL!!! Its are times when we need to separate the good from the bad....
  12. I am 9 days post op, and I am get so very hungry at times. I sometimes feel like I have no restrictions at all, and feel as if I can eat a full sub sandwich. I have come to my freak out stage, but deep in my heart, I know I did the right thing for me. I just need some encouraging words and some insight on how to avoid getting hungry..Any Insights....PLEASE..

    Steps 1,2,3 and recovery

I had my surgery on the March 21st also. I too had an hiatal hernia and had it repaired along with my surgery. Each day I am progressing, but still sleeps on my right side as I heal. I am now 10 lbs. down, and I am still on clear liquids. I went back to work on Tuesday, wish I would have stayed out longer, but the job is not straineous(overlook the spelling), I felt better so I returned to work. I am beginning to get hungery more and more each day, so now I am slowly moving into my solid liquids. I think I can give myself a pat on the back for deciding to do something for me. I too love life, more than knowing that I was killing myself eating just because it's there. This road my be hard, but I will be will be able to rejoice in the end. I can't wait to see my ends result. Good luck on your journey, we can do it!!
