  1. Congratulations and good luck, praying for a speedy recovery. I am now 5 days post op, had mine done 1 Feb. 2019 and to tell you honestly I am doing much better than I expected. Just follow your diet like the Dr. prescribes and you will do great. Best of luck!!!
  2. Try a sugar/ no carb free diet to help reduce the liver Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Yes the team psych actually has an office within the doctor's office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The drive was good and the visit went great.
  4. I live 2 hours away from my psych as well, matter of fact I am traveling now to make my very last appointment which is to see them. In my opinion I would travel and make the appointment just to get it over with and get the ball rolling for my surgery instead of prolonging time trying to find someone who will give me an appointment 2 months from now, but everyone is different. Anyways good luck on your journey[emoji173] Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
  5. I am also the 7th of 8 girls, and they all have been so supportive of me. I wouldn't trade them for the world, BUT I no what you are saying...LOL!!! Its are times when we need to separate the good from the bad....
  6. I had my surgery on the March 21st also. I too had an hiatal hernia and had it repaired along with my surgery. Each day I am progressing, but still sleeps on my right side as I heal. I am now 10 lbs. down, and I am still on clear liquids. I went back to work on Tuesday, wish I would have stayed out longer, but the job is not straineous(overlook the spelling), I felt better so I returned to work. I am beginning to get hungery more and more each day, so now I am slowly moving into my solid liquids. I think I can give myself a pat on the back for deciding to do something for me. I too love life, more than knowing that I was killing myself eating just because it's there. This road my be hard, but I will be will be able to rejoice in the end. I can't wait to see my ends result. Good luck on your journey, we can do it!!
  7. I was just like you, always putting others first. My kids have grown into young men and they are hardly around me anymore. So when reality hit me that I need to do something for myself I did. I got to work on me, and put other things aside. This is my life and I am glad I decided to get banded. I was banded on yesterday, have some gas, nothing I can't handle. I think I will be happy with the end results.
