The reason will be different for ea of us. But as for myself I wanted a tool to help me in my new lifestyle forever ( in other words if something happens later pregnacy illness etc and i need help to get back on track i see dr for an adjustment)... also bc the band was the least envasive of the options. . I was banded april 3 of this yr... weight was 273 I am now 175.1... no doubt in my mind I will hit my goal weight. W that said I do my part...don't rely on the band to work magic... I excerise every day of the wk..and twice a wk I get 2 daily work outs in and I monitor everything I put in my mouth. I own my bad days as well as my good one. Good luck in yr journey!

I like nioxin too I get mine on Amazon. ..mainly bc its easier for me to order it than search for it.. but that's me I'm an amazon junky ..lol

We are all different but I work out very hard 7 days a wk ( in training for marathon) if I have less than 1000 calories a day my workout suffers noticeably. . Right now I stay about 1,100 a day and for ME that works

I don't have any answers BUT me too..I'm down 95 lbs only 30 left to goal and I can't get warm... I've warn sweaters for the last mnth and its not winter cold yet just fall.
