I am 24 and was banded 9/12/12. I lost 17 pounds in the first 10ish days, so you're completely normal. Just make sure you stay hydrated and drink your protein shakes! Following doctor's orders is key to your success!

Anyone in my area looking for a banded buddy? I have only ever known one other person who was banded, so I'm looking for someone who might want to meet for lunch (ironic yes) to talk sometime. Or if you know of a support group in this area, that'd be great too. My friends have been awesome, but they don't understand some of the struggles.
