I was banded at 10:15 yesterday. Had a hard time in recovery..apparently have severe sleep apnea. They had to keep yelling at me to breathe. Other than that..no pain, except gas. That is manageable though. No pain meds since yesterday. Hoping to get of the house tomorrow.

Only 2 more days to go. Pre-op appt tomorrow. I am hoping everything goes smoothly.

I have 2 weeks 2 days to go and honestly not sure if I am ever going to make it. I am ready for a change and when I set my mind to it...I don't want things like the surgeon's schedules or anything to make me wait. lol

Lots of great support here! I have asked a ton of (in my opinion) stupid questions and everyone has been great about answering them.

Bummer! Well, 2 days just gives you more days to ready yourself. It stinks having to wait though. I have no patience!

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely try all of that. I am ready for this surgery to happen already!Congrats! I am right behind you and I can't wait to cross over to the other side. Hope the gas pains ease up. That is always the worse with any surgery, I can take the soreness, but the gas really hurts.I am being banded on 2/28/13 and I live in Mount Airy, GA. I hope this helps.Got my approval on 2/5/13....surgery 2/28. Can't wait!
