Terrible neck/shoulder pain at 2 WKs post -- still gas?
I also had this problem it was weird because I didn't have it right after surgery but within 4 to 5 days out it started up. It did go away but I had to take some Tylenol even early out for the pain.

Unbearable stomach pains 12 months post surgery
Gallbladder and yeah rapid weight loss does aggravate it because it can cause stones to develop. A lot of Surgeons will actually put you on a prescription medication to prevent them after weight loss surgery or just remove it at the same time. I got mine out with surgery but before that the pain was horrific.

So happy for you!

Pre-op liquid diet: Always Required?
I did not have one.

6 weeks post op...now what?
I can eat whatever I want at just under six weeks but you probably are hungry and need more food because of the nursing. It burns a lot of calories.

Hot food gone cold.
Bed bath and beyond sells a little coffee mug warming plate that I really like. You plug it in and it stays hot.

Yep I have the ppo and I think doing your six months with the nut should be just fine.

BCBS of MI
When they covered my band they took documentation like ww. It was something like six consecutive months of weight loss attempts within one or two years of seeking , can't remember exactly. I ended up just doing six months of monthly visits with my primary care doc focused on diet changes then he wrote my recommendation. I also had to do a psych eval. For my revision the hospital did have me do additional tests but I was happy about that and it went quickly.

Time off work for surgery
Unfortunately you can't really count on anyone else's experience. But I went back to work on Monday after having surgery on Thursday so not even a full week off. Monday was somewhat difficult because I was sore but by Tuesday i really felt pretty good just sitting at my desk.

BCBS of MI
I have it. They covered my lap band years ago very easily and my revision to sleeve recently very easily as well. I think the insurance is awesome. Pm me if you want more info.

Honestly, who has had zero problems
- Who else has lactose problems?
It's weird because of can eat non fat yogurt but can't drink any kind of milk at all.- Bittersweet NSV
Mine are the same way! I have one from LB that I really like but it has the big hard cups. It looks ridiculous when I lay down in it.- 5 days post op-afraid it didnt work! Feeling TOO normal.
My doc had no clear Liquids phase at all. Straight to yogurt, cream of wheat, etc. I also had no pre op. I have felt amazing from day one. No problems.- Appetite Suppressants
I asked for phentermine a couple of weeks after my band was deflated because I could not control the weight gain. Doc was only willing to give me the lowest possible dosage and it wasn't doing anything except making me act bitchy. So I didn't use it. I've done well on higher dosages in the past. I know how you feel. Right now your stomach is stretched from the band. I was so hungry! The good news is every pound I gained feel off within two weeks post op. I had no pre op diet. Now just under five weeks out I am less than I was when they unfilled me.- Honestly, who has had zero problems
No problems. No regrets. Just under five weeks out and 26 pounds down. All post op.- Wondering if 9 months is enough time to heal between band and sleeve
I had mine all in one but my band was completely unfilled for several months and I was put on a couple of ppi meds and another med to help heal the lining of my stomach during that time.- As if I didnt have enough to worry about.....
For many of us surgery brings it on for some reason so if you didn't have it going in you'd probably get it in the hospital anyway.- Complications ?
All in one. No complications. Back to work day four.- Frustrated #failure
I'm four weeks too and that same two pound thing was happening to me. I stopped weighing for a week, started walking a lot, and the stall broke! Six pounds. Now I'm going up and down with one pound.- Drains
About a week. Didn't hurt at all.- Drains
About a week. Didn't hurt at all.- 2 weeks post op and I gained 2lbs today... Im freaking out!
Yes it does happen. It will come back off and then some. Don't freak out. - Who else has lactose problems?
