  2. Not that I am aware. It was only about 6 weeks difference and the only weight loss I recorded before surgery was the week before because I was on a strict 1000 calorie diet & 3 days before Clear liquids and Protein drinks only. During that week I lost 10 pounds and when I found that out it was because they weighed me the day of surgery. So even if I had, (but don't think I did) i don't think they would have caught it in time anyways lol
  3. Yes!!! And it will be here before you know it!!!! Glad to hear all is well after your lung surgery!
  4. Dr Zeni was my surgeon! He's awesome

  9. I think I'll wait LOL
  10. True, I think maybe I should wait. I have self control, I really could have one sip but thinking I should wait just because I don't want discomfort.
  11. I'm 6 weeks post op btw!!!
  12. Now I know the answer to my following question, however I just want some personal experience answers LOL! I am dyyyinngggggg to just have ONE sip of a pop! I know I shouldn't and they say not to. But one sip? I can control myself - I just don't want to have pain. Comments??? Also- straws.... I know they said not to. But for how long? Not that I'm totally concerned not using a straw; makes no difference to me really. Just curious.

  15. I'm 6 weeks out now, btw
  16. Not kidding - EXACTLY a month after my surgery to the day, my pain went away! It was miserable. I went back to work after 2 weeks after surgery and was ok for the most part other than being uncomfortable from the pain. I am working out now & back to my normal chaotic & busy life. And I'm loving it! It definitely gets easier - hang in there!!!!
  17. I am in the metro Detroit/Ann arbor area. I would love to have monthly support groups!!! Maybe I will even make a Facebook page for people to communicate better/easier and set up events! Anyone interested in tackling this with me?? Private message me!!! We all need help in these tough times! I know I do - I don't know ANYONE in real like who's been sleeved!!!
  18. I am almost 3 weeks post op! & my face has been breaking out baaadddd! I have never had a problem with acne until now - wondering if anyone else experienced this post op??? It makes me kind of sad
  19. That's how I was but it went away within a few days! It made eating unpleasant and the first few days being home from the hospital I didn't even want water because I felt this way! Just remember your stomach is adjusting so things will be a little different at first! Mind over matter - it will all be worth it!!! Hang in there, just eat slow!
  20. We can be buddies... How much are you down?
