Ugh Plateau...
I agree with what everyone said. I am the same way. If I eat less (about 600 -700 cal) I dont lose weight and if I have 900 - 1100cal/day I lose about 2 lbs per week.

I need some advice...
I don't have a carb intake goal for myself. I just eat my Protein first and eat some carbs after. I do this to kinda limit carbs since I like bread and rice. By eating my protein first I get satisfied quicker and stay satisfied for longer hours. My nutritionist advice me of a minimum of 80g of protein to 120g per day. You're doing great. Keep up the good work.

2nd week and started gaining weight!
I was putting in 500 - 600 cal per day til I actually move to pureed diet. I was eating 5 times per day. My nut told me to shoot for at least 800 but that was hard when you are on full liquid phase.

looks like I may have to pay out of pocket...

OK thanks Missy...I was just wondering since I have read a lot of post about gaining weight after complete unfill.

2 questions....
For strength training, go for heavy weights less reps. Do your reps slowly and you don't have to do a lot to make your muscle gets the work out.

Burps
Burping is one of my sign that I am done eating or a deep breath. I don'[t burp when I wake up....the gas goes down lower LOL

For Curiousity Sake...
I actually ask this question as a reply to one of the post but I am really curious. Does the weight come back when they do a complete unfill or if they have to do a replacement band? Is this true even if you stay with the program, 1/2-1 cup per meal???

Just curious. When they do unfill and you kept with the program, do you still gain weight???

Surgery Thursday, liquid diet and cold feet.
It is normal to have cold feet before surgery. Read Terry's post and really digest it. Yes you can eat real food again (just in small portion). Yes, you wont be able to lift your kids (for a few weeks), it is temporary. You can sit on the couch and have your kids on your lap.....still doing mommy kid bonding. You can still sleep with your kid/s. If you are worried about your kid kicking you in the tummy....put a pillow in between. Now everything is all up to you. Do you want to live healthy and be able to play with your kid without getting out of breath easily or do you just want to see your kid play alone while you watch???

1/2 to 1 cup of food question
Yes measure everything and log everything you eat to make sure you're getting enough protein and calories.

More I Lose, the Fatter I Feel
Take a picture of yourself once a month and that is the one that is going to tell you that you are indeed getting healthier. I've lost 33 lbs so far and people are noticing it more than I do til someone took a group picture and saw myself. All of this time I thought everyone is just being nice.

morning or evening?
I do my exercise in the morning to give me energy for the day. If I do them at night I can't sleep.

Did anyone have a problem with pop/soda?
I am also a coke addict (coke zero). I gave it up the day of surgery. I thought it is going to be too hard to quit that but I was surprised it wasn't.

1st Fill
LOL! Now I can feel the difference. I had chicken for lunch I think I had a bit too big of a bite and I felt it. It feels like something is in the middle of my chest below my sternum. It was a bit annoying/uncomfortable but not painful. Guess I have to really slow down and take smaller bites.

Foods that cause problems
I don't have any food that gives me any problem but then again I am only 6 weeks post op. I just had my first fill yesterday and the surgeon put in 5 cc in my 10 cc band. I guess I am going to find out in a few days what I can eat and how to eat food the right way. I am kinda getting nervous about this since I don't want a stuck episode or vomiting.
