  1. I am on day 2 of my 10-day pre-op liquid diet so I fell your pain right now...literately!! I am just trying to stay busy. My issue seems to be more "head hunger" and breaking old habits. For example - going through McDonald's and getting a diet coke on my way to work. Weird passing that my this morning, but I did get to work on time I just keep telling myself if I cant do this I will never be successful with the band. Good luck in your journey!!
  2. I have this same issue. Also and iPhone user.
  3. Not that I know of. It has its own app where you track your food and track stuff. You can create a team share info.
  4. Love mine btw, lol. Highly recommend!!!
  5. I got mine @ Best Buy in the health and fitness section. They have blue & black. If you want one of the other colors I think you have to order online.
  6. I believe you just click on the left side "drop menu" and go to team and then you click the add button. At that point you search by name or email. My email is jami44@me.com. Not sure if I made any scenes...if not, if you want to give me your info I can invite you.
  7. I'm live right between Cincinnati and Dayton
  8. I'm from Miamisburg. Scheduled for surgery 2/6/13 and start my pre-op diet Sunday.
  9. https://jawbone.com/up Does anyone have/use an Up bracelet by Jawbone. I have had mine for a couple weeks and would love to start a team.
  10. Thanks for the advice and encouragement! Yes - my friend battles with weight issues as well, she probably has a good 50lbs on me.
  11. I have the same issue. My best friend is against me having the surgery. She told me, "we are going to have to agree to disagree on this. I feel surgery is for the morbidly obese when there are no other options, and I don't feel that is you." My sister, same thing, "I wouldn't think you would be big enough for the surgery" At 5'2" and 235lbs my family doctor, my surgeon and I all feel it is a wise choice. People may not agree with your decisions but they are not the ones who have to wake up every day and walk around in your shoes, so do what makes you happy, and agree to disagree.
  12. Is it possible to have to much protein a day? I know 70-100grams is recommended, but are their benefits or side effects to going over?

  16. My first doctor’s appointment was October 23, 2012, but I had to do 3 months with a Dietitian. My last dietitian visit was Monday January 7th, and then they sent everything to my insurance for approval. So it took right around a week for my insurance to approve it.
  17. Awesome idea! I think I am going to do this after I have my surgury. Thanks Ladies
  18. Thats awesone! I got the call Wednesday. Mine is February 6th. Do you have to do the pre-op liquid diet?
  19. Hi Guys! I got the call Wednesday form my insurance that my surgury has been approved. I am scheduled for surgury February February 6th, 3 days after my 31st birthday, so no birthday cake for me but it will all be worth it. I start my 10 day pre-op liquid diet next Sunday, Janruary, 26th...Eeeek!
