6 months out -only 30 lbs down
I don't know a lot, but from what you describe it sounds like you may be too tight!

Courage to not feel embarrassed I failed.
Just remember...that's one of the good things about the band, its adjustable! Learn from your mistakes and use them to help you in the future. You now know you can do it, but you also know how easy it is to slip back in to old habits.

Advocare 24-Day Challenge
I was curious if anyone has done this, especially post lap-band? Someone gave me a sample of the Spark drink and I tried it today and loved it. I think there are pills involved in the 24-Day Challenge so I don't really know how feasible it is at this point.

Feel good stories! Share yours!
I had my first softball game of the season last Tuesday. Afterward I receive a txt from one of my guy friends who runs the team that said: "Just so ya know.....you looked amazing tonight! Don't know what you did in the off season but it fits you. Seriously!!!!! Very adorable! Sorry if that offended you. Just saying" I have received a lot of compliments lately from people who have noticed my weight loss, but that one was by far the one that made me feel the best. Keep in mind we were playing softball... I'm in my jersey from last season which is about 2 sizes to big now so I'm feeling like a hot mess. It's not like I had my 'get a man' outfit on my any means, lol

Compliments are hard to take. Not worthy?
I feel the same way! I am not ashamed that I have the band and will openly tell people...except when it comes to where I work. I have had a lot of people complementing me lately at work and a couple people have even told me that I inspired them and I feel SO guilty. Like I'm not being honest. I'm almost 3 months post op, with no fills, and wk out 7-9 times a wk, but still feel so uncomfortable when someone compliments me.

Thinking of getting a personal trainer
I work out with a personal trainer about 4 days a week and I love it! He pushes me and gets me to do things I would never think to do. I am a creature of habit so I get bored really easy, but he changes things up and I never know what to expect and therefor do not get bored. I actually look forward to working out. Even when they scale is only creeping along I am still noticing major changes in my body.

Types of excersizes 6 days post op?
I am about 2 1/2 months post op and get light headed a lot when working out. Not really sure why. I have upped my calorie intake some and I think that has helped a little. As for Protein shakes I have found that the pre-mixed ones, although more expensive, are much better and way easier. Walmart has one called Pure Protein that is by far my favorite!

Will I need a Tummy Tuck?
It just depends...everyone is different. A lot of factors go into it: How long you have been heavy, how fast you gained the weight, how much weight you loose, how fast you loose it, etc..

MIDSECTION WEIGHT LOSS STRUGGLE/ PCOS
I was working out twice a day & eating between 900-1100 calories and the scale was not moving. Last week I worked out the same, cardio in the morning and weight lifting in the afternoon. I started eating 1400-1700 calories, still healthy foods, and lost 2.8lbs.

MIDSECTION WEIGHT LOSS STRUGGLE/ PCOS
If you are working out harder than before you may need to adjust your calorie intake up a little bit. I had the same issue. I was working out twice a day and the scale was not moving. I added a little more calories to my diet and was down 2.8lbs this last week.

Mentor needed
I am only about 3 months along, not sure how good of a mentor I would be. But I would love to be an accountability partner/

Working Out Vs Calorie Intake
I work with a trainer 4 days a week doing the weight lifting. I felt like I wasn't getting any/enough cardio which is why I started doing cardio in the morning. My trainer is telling me I need to eat more which is hard to wrap my head around. The logical part of my brain understands, but the fat girl in me doesnt.

Working Out Vs Calorie Intake
I usually only do double sessions Mon-Fri and rest on the weekends. I only get light headed when doing the weight lifting. This even happened when I was only doing the weight lifting and no morning cardio so I wouldn't think its so much over training, but what do I know. Monday I ate more and that seemed to help. Its just a hard thing to wrap your brain around needed to eat more to loose weight. Thanks Everyone!

Working Out Vs Calorie Intake
I have been working out 2 times a day, cardio in the morning and weight lifting in the afternoon. I find that I have been getting light headed during my weight training. I am eating between 900-1100 calories a day and everyone tells me that I am not eating enough. I am worried that I am creating to much of a calorie deficit. I don't want to give up working out, but I also don't know how I can eat more without defeating the purpose of the band. Does/has anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions?
