I was banded in February and had not issues when going back to softball this year. I probably would try to play until you doctor releases you to exercise. If you are not sure & want to go back earlier I would consult with your doctor first. Good luck! I love hockey!!

Thanks! I will tell you I never thought I could do it either. I LOVE softball and would play 5 days a week if I could, but growing up I would never play for school and would only do summer league because they made you run if u played for the school. That's how bad I hate running. 8 weeks ago I couldn't run more than 2mins without a break. This really is an awesome program!!!- C25K - Finnished Today!!!
Heck yeah!!! That would be just the motivation I need to keep going. The Biggest Looser has a 5K walk/run in KY on November 2 and I want to do it SOOO bad' date=' but my best friend is getting married that day. Being that I am the maid of honor I don't think she would appreciate me not being there, lol jk. However, they do have a 5k off-road challenge in Laurel, IN @ Haspin Acres on April 26, 2014. I attached the link (I think) so look into it and let me know what u think!! It would give us both plenty of time to get ready [url']http://www.biggestloserrunwalk.com/Indiana-OffRoad-2014[/url]- Still Mad?!?

Today I completed the 8week program! Not quite to a 5k yet, but I ran the times the program required. Ran for 30mins straight today never thought I would see the day. Huge NSV for this girl. On to the 10k program next. To be continued...- Running a half?
This may be a silly question, but is there a good web site to find 5k races? I am looking into doing one early next year and would prefer that it is a chipped race...and I would be lying if I said I didn't want a medal, lol.- Burpees
Just curious why you cant do crunches?- Couch to 5k
Yes - I think the first day/week you run for 60sec and walk for 90. The great thing is you can repeat days if you need to. My goal was to never have to repeat a day, but the day they took me from running 8mins straight to running 20mins I had to do twice. I nailed it the second time and honestly looking back probably could/should have done it the first time but my head got in the way.- Still Mad?!?

Yes - I had kind of hit a stall in my weightloss and the moment I started C25K the weight started dropping off again. I highly recommend this program. Never realized how much of a full body workout running was. Up to running 25min straight this week. Probably one of my proudest accomplishments!- Couch to 5k
Did you ever start the C25K? Next week is my last week and while I haven't nailed down the distance exactly I have done the time they told me to. Going to work on my speed next!- New
Welcome & Good Luck!! You will find a lot of support and wisdom here!- Advocare 24-day Challange
I have yet to hear a bad thing about AdvoCare! Yes - I am taking the Catalyst...I wish they were all capsules like that! I have been taking the Spark since May and love it. I was doing the 5 hour energy drinks, but could not sleep. No issue with the Spark. I had been debating on the 24-day challenge for a while and after talking to yet another friend who tried it and hearing how much better she felt I decided why not! I don't really need it for the weight loss, have my band for that so that is just an added bonus, I just want to feel better! So far I do so its a win win- Am I the only one?
My guess is you may need a fill. You should only need to wait 30 mins after a meal to drink. After all the body need water as much as it needs food. As you loose weight and fat around the band it happens. Talk to your doctor.- I MUST BE DREAMING!
Never a silly post. Encouraging and motivating maybe Congrats!!- Advocare 24-day Challange
I actually started it Monday and by Wednesday morning I was down 2.8lbs so I cant complain!! However, being a lap-band patient you have to really be committed as there are a lot of big pills involved. All of the pills can be cut or crushed (minus one) it can just be time consuming. Being that there is one pill that cannot be cut/crushed it has to be substituted for another product so everything has to be purchased separately vs buying the bundle. It is not a huge deal nor is it really more expensive, you just have to know what to get Hope this helps, if I can answer any more quested just let me know!!- someone motivate me
"Man I really regret that workout"...said no one ever!! Trust me - the hardest part is getting yourself there every day. From that point it's all down hill- Jeans! NSV
