Hi there - when I am on the mobile app (I use iPhone) I see the threads of the group I created (February 2013 Bandsters) but when clicking on the topic I get a permission error that I am not authorized. Ideas?

I have this same issue. Also and iPhone user.

Forums and threads that are part of a "Group" aren't accessible on our mobile Apps at this time. We definitely have plans on enabling this in the very near future.

I have a few people that say there is no join button but when i go to look at the settings, its set to Public and I can't figure out why they are members if they didn't join. Any documentation on the group section here?

That's quite odd! Which group are you referring to ? I'll test it out myself. Could be they're on mobile devices or they don't see the Join Group button at the top right of the screen. Groups (as well as the entire web site) is getting a little makeover in about a month or so and we'll have better documentation posted at that time. I used to use phpbb ages and ages ago for another little community I ran. Amazed they're still around. They were pretty popular back in the day.
