  1. that's wonderful! so b-52 our body will just stop where its comfortable? I wondered how that worked, I just got banded last week so im far from goal, but I was wondering?
  2. its hard to know who to tell.. only my husband knows and he is very supportive... he said I can just keep it our Secret if I want to! :-) both of our mothers are pretty negative and I don't need that right now!
  3. I had the ablation too about a year ago. I was 39 when I had it. I felt bad the next day, but that was it. no more periods! best thing I did too! periods were awful for me..
  4. I ate the wonton broth once on my liquid diet. I did fine with it.
  5. oh and you can get liquid adult Tylenol at CVS if you need that.
  6. gas-x was the big one for me.. and Jello, crystal light, etc. I only used my heating pad twice, but lots of people use it more. oh and lots of pillows. I had them all around me on my bed to help me stay propped up. im 4 days post op. it wasn't as bad as I was expecting as long as I didn't let my pain med run out. good luck to you!
  7. great goals! I have to sometimes ask my husband to hide the scale from me and he does without complaint... even though he prob thinks I am crazy.. :-)
  8. thanks for explaining tmf.. I was wondering about the damage. I'm only 3 days post OP.. but I'm, not supossed to start regular foods until after week 4. I have to do liquids and mushies first. I don't want to do anything to damage my body or band. that's very scary to me.
  9. I had 21 days of shakes too. sometimes it was pretty bad, but I just had my surgery on the 30th. the Dr said my liver looked good. so it was definitely worth it!
  10. had my surgery yesterday.. not feeling so bad today, a little sore, but as long as I keep the pain meds in im good. I just can't believe it! when I started this process in December, it seemed like so long before I would actually get banded! but the wait was soooo worth it! can't wait to see the results! I have the best husband too! he has,been so supportive!

  12. im done too. sooo sleepy. keeping the meds in me, pain is not too bad.

  16. mine is on Thursday too. im taking a week off. but I have my daughters high school graduation next Tuesday. hoping to feel better by then.
