  1. Happy 43rd Birthday Mischievous1!

  2. You hit your goal? You Rock! I haven't been on in a while. My son turned ONE in November, I hit 41 in Oct and then we had Thanksgiving, Christmas and now prepping the books for EOY tax time stuff....after the new year I am going to start focusing on me again...then focusing back on me again!! LEt me know how life 'at goal' is like, is it staying off!!?? Is you band still pretty tight?

  3. Hi Jennifer, just checking in...how are you doing? Have you lost alot of weight are you super skinny now?? :)

  4. omg ! i hit my goal its crazy how fast it went .. wow !!

and you how is ur sugar addiction ? i would say that i have the same problem I'm in love with chocolate lol but we have had to say our goodbyes =)

  5. I've heard the breastfeeding can really help take the weight off. My milk never came in, however, I was able to work out harder and eat less than if I were breastfeeding, so for me I think it came out in the wash. I was using my bodybugg until about 3 months ago when my subscription ran out. I haven't wanted to spend the money to renew it. I love how they hold it hostage with their dumb online software! Good luck getting your fill! I hope it goes well.

  7. At first the weight just melted off (I was breastfeeding) then I had to work to get myself down to 4 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight...then I quit breastfeeding (right after I sent you that last message) and I put on 10 lbs in a few days! I'm taking a spin class 2x a week and meeting with a trainer once a week and then doing more cardio for another hour a week (usually elliptical) but still havent' gotten a fill (that may be coming soon) however, my problem doesn't seem to be eating too much, in fact the trainer says im not eating enough protein (hard protein) argh...so this week, i'm focusing on that before going for another fill. I'm thinking about getting another bodybugg, I used to have one and it really made me aware of how active I was (or not) for the day and I would push to get to my daily goal..are you still using yours?

  8. Hey there! Sorry, I haven't logged on until yesterday to see your message! So you also had a band baby boy? I've also had a problem losing all the weight after the baby. I've got about 10 pounds left to get back to my goal weight again. I had to get back to the basics to lose it: Only 3/4 cup of food each meal, no drinking for at least an hour afterward, and LOTS of water! How's your weight loss been?

  9. Yeah for you! This is getting closer, aren't you excited?

  10. Puddin, You have been an inspiration to me for years...I know you are into road biking and recently I took a spinning class....OUCH...don't know that biking will ever be my passion, but how are you? Have you had a baby recently? Are you keeping your weight off? I had a band baby boy in November and am almost back to pre baby weight, I can't seem to lose anymore and need to get back on the Lap Band Talk site for inspiration...let me know how you are doing and if you have any good threads going that may help me on my next 25 pound journey.

  11. Laura- you haven't been on LapBand Talk for a long time! Are you doing okay??

  12. Hey all I can't believe its been 9 MONTHS since I had this little guy? He's such a great baby, and i've lost all but 6 lbs of the weight...without a fill! I do remember when I was first prego and getting unfilled (without fluoro) she didn't get it ALL - she said I had about 1.8 cc's still in there, but at the time it felt like I was unfilled completely. I have had some restriction lately due to the heat and obviously a little dehydration. I do know I eat less than I used to before the LAP-BAND®, I also chew better and make way better food choices...I can't seem to get lower than the 206 I am stuck at right now (i'm 5'7" so it's still a little too heavy for where I want to be) so starting this week i'm uppping the exercise - wish me luck...anyway here is a pic of my little band boy! Enjoy!

    May 2007 Banders

Hey all i'm here...9 months post baby and almost lost all the baby weight....but i've been back to the gym and kicking butt and still can't lose these last 6 lbs...(I was down to 204 but I bounced back up to 206) so Monday I joined a spinning class...WOW...it REALLY kicked butt, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to walk out of the class room. I waited about 10 minutes and slowly made my way down to the locker room where I locked myself in a stall and cried for about 5 minutes (I dunno why-i'm just crazy I guess) so today I went to the Sports store and bought a pair of biking shorts and guess what? I'm going back to class tomorrow...I HATED it, but I can't have it kicking MY butt now can I? Yes I think I am crazy...any words of encouragement would be GREATLY appreciated!
  14. I am hoping you will friend me, i've been following your progress and am curious how happy you are with your surgery now after it has all healed? I am want to go for surgery too, but i'm afraid to even go see a PS as I feel I am still too "fat" and they will tell me to get out of their office...LOL...isn't that sad? How tall are you and what weight/size were you when you got your surgery? Is there a chart they follow to determine if you are small enough? Thanks for any advice you are willing to offer.

  15. I have hungry days and then I have not so hungry days, but i'm losing weight while breast feeding (10 lbs in the past 3 weeks) so i'm gonna hold off on a fill because this is adequate weight loss and i'm certain my baby is getting enough nutrition. If I stop losing and start eating too much I may consider it, but for now, i'm holding off...how is your milk supply looking? Have you tried pumping to see how much you are producing?
