  1. I can feel it if I push on it, but it definitely doesn't look different on the outside. Well, except the big honkin bruise. LOL
  2. A good idea, telling her it's personal, but she's so sweet and sensitive, I know it will hurt her feelings that I don't want to open up. ARGH Damn my sister.
  3. Well MY grandmother always said if you lie it will come back to haunt you. So, if I say I had to have gallbladder surgery, I'll end up having to have gallbladder surgery. LOL
  4. I normally don't lie under any circumstances, but I might have to here in a day or so. I didn't really tell anyone I was getting surgery except on a need-to-know basis. While I was in the hospital, my sister came to sit for the kids. Despite me making a point of telling her that the kids did NOT know I was getting surgery, sure enough she told them. My daughter has since blabbed to everyone she passes in the halls at school (she's 8). This weekend, the kids are going with my ex and his grandparents. I KNOW she's going to tell them all I had surgery, and of COURSE his grandmother is going to call and ask me what surgery and so on. I don't feel like they need to know my business and absolutely don't want to hear the lecture, so I never planned on telling them. So, my question is, WHAT do I tell her when she calls? I hate to out and out lie and say I had a gallbladder operation or something, but what choice do I have? ARGH! I hate that my sister put me in this situation. Help! Any ideas?
  5. That sounds about how mine went. I had TERRIBLE reactions to the pain meds they gave me! I couldn't even pick my head up without getting dizzy and they were trying to make me walk around. I just wanted to sleep for 40 days!!!
  6. Yep, I took 3 sets. Jeans and a tshirt, exercise clothes, and bra and underwear.
  7. Drink a gallon of water before your weigh in. Easy enough.
  8. That's encouraging, Seajules! You had about the same to lose as I did, and I'd be over the MOON with 21 pounds this first month!!!
  9. Ew, BK was your big choice? That's about the LAST burger place I'd choose. Glad they got you in!!
  10. I wanted my before pictures to really show how FAT I am. Most people you can't tell because it's only a headshot (which is all the pictures I had of me, too!). I want DRAMATIC before/after shots. :cursing:
  11. Not sure when mine is yet, around that time, I'd imagine. Supposed to be 4 weeks out. I'll be calling to make an appointment soonish so I can make plans, since I have to drive 3 hrs each way to get there. My dr says he does the first fill under floro so that he can be aggressive with it. I'm excited.
  12. Well that was a full body bra and underwear shot, I just cropped it down to there. That was bad enough, NO ONE needs to see the full monte. :cursing:
  13. Similar thing happened to me, I ordered the only brothy soup they had and it ended up being about 1/4 cup of broth and an insane amount of delicious looking rice and chicken. LOL
  14. Saying 90 days of free fills is a total scam. The 90 days shouldn't even start until the first one.
  15. Wow since NOVEMBER! That's fabulous! Great job!
  16. I've never been so excited about the idea of eating an egg. ONE MORE WEEK!
  17. That's not a very positive attitude. Did you do a lot of research before you had the surgery? Did you know they are put in EMPTY? You have to let your body heal before they can start filling it and giving you restriction. I'm sure you don't want it to slip! Hang in there!
  18. I would have gladly had it take a little longer and saved my $13k. But my insurance didn't cover it. It took about a month once I started the process until surgery date, but only because the hospital required to be paid 3 weeks prior to the date. So, one I paid, we booked it for 3 weeks from that day.
  19. This is from my before picture taken about 3 weeks ago that I haven't really looked at until now. I just have one question.... when did my belly button turn into an ass?
  20. Assuming the big incision is the port one? (I haven't pushed on them yet to find out lol) It's almost straight above my belly button and about 3" above. I have 5 incisions total.
  21. OUCH! Glad nothing was broken! AND that it didn't happen while you were still sore from surgery!
  22. I make my husband answer because I can't say no. I'd buy anything. LOL
  23. Same here! Whenever they ask when my last one was I'm always like "uh.... I dunno?"
  24. It was worse than I expected that first day, too. I was laying in bed in the hotel wondering WHY I would have considered this. By the 2nd day, I no longer regretted my decision (although I had a hard time climbing into our pillow top bed lol). By day 5 I was sleeping on my stomach!
