  6. My Surgeon goal was low. He set a goal of 180 lbs. I started at 265lbs. I want to get to 140lbs. But I'm not gonna worry. I'm gonna focus. Getting healthy and learning how to eat with stages of diet in the beginning. Being grateful to gain strength with any weight loss and happy to reach NSV (non scale victories). in other words Enjoying the whole ride. Later I'll add my own goal.

  8. I agree mine was a slice of cake too. First I filled out a 2 page questioner easy Not a lo of questions either. Then, Got ask about my family/support. Past history. Eating habits/ issue. diet etc. how ready I am for the surgery. They did ask if any abuse. And my understanding of what will take place with the surgery.questions about mental health hx. if any But it was easy. Good luck!

  10. I'm with you I m out traveling alot too. Found myself at fast food places more than the average. So, I plan to pack Shakes, crystal light. And some low cal snack foods. Good luck!

  14. Hi MrsSaso I agree that try and get your protein in. Because protein deficiency can cause hair Loss, muscle loss weakness and according to my Nut land you back in the hospital. I love your art!! You are successful you can do it! Congrats! Merry Christmas!

  17. And yes keep the fluids going. Dehydration can also cause dizziness.
  18. Also if it continues have your doctor check your electrolytes. Don't be shy. Have all your things that come up addressed if need so can have a speedy Recovery and Happy sleeve. You can do it. Merry Christmas.
  19. Congrats on having the surgery! So glad you made through surgery. I believe your Nut and physician will provide good answers for you. I'm not sleeve yet. But I would still get the require fluids in.So you don't become dehydrated. Good topic thanks for posting.
  20. Congrats on your sleeve and double congrats on your Graduation! I'm not sleeve yet, But im adding protein shakes now so i could get weight loss before the sleeve as an option. Discuss with your Nut for a diet menu pre op. Try using fitness Pal for added support. The pre op diet should help. good luck!
