If you are concerned have it checked out. I had a anesthesia before and did not have any cough afterwards. But I agree with your concerns If continued "Green" mucus needs to be checked out. Congrats on your new Sleeve Good luck.

Nutritionist setting unrealistic goal for me?
I agree that that sound 120 in 10 months sounds fast. You can talk to your Surgeon , and Nut to set the goal that your more comfortable with! Setting your own goals that's best for you. In my opinion it is equally as important to follow the program getting in Protein first, keeping hydrated walking. Etc. You are going to do fine. Keep Positive. Keep us posted. Congrats, we are supporting you!

Big girl pants!
I'm in the same situation. My mom is unsupportive and persuasive too. But my DH is supportive and that's means more to me than those who are unsupportive. So I told my mom that I was having a procedure , But I've since told 3 close friends who are all amazingly supportive. For me it my decision for my health. I'm standing up for my own life. Im going for it any way. For my family's future. Focus on you and your health. Go for it if you really want to.

FIRST DR APP FRIDAY FINALLY :)
I'm putting so much time in it it's like preparing for that Wedding of the year. My experience. Yea, I'm in a 6 or 9 month program. Lol In this time I'm getting my self understanding of what this commitment is al about. Drinking Protein drinks. Cutting out bad foods. Learning to eat right. Adding protein foods. getting use to a new lifestyle change. Getting support in place and more. This is my experience. I agree to each is on! But if I could have done this faster I probably would have.

When I lose weight I'm going to...
I would do vacations with my DH and kids. Have not been in well almost 5 years for a complete family vacation. Been too busy and really tired since my injury. Use to go twice a year! I would ride my bike. My favorite sport ever! I would coach 1 game of basketball my 2nd favorite sport ever. Extreme sports rock climbing, canoeing, white water rafting, wind suit sky diving. Simply workout every single day!

THATS not self control!
Yes this does require tremendous self control! This is even like a full time job! But be encouraged , You have already demonstrated plenty of control. With All that you probably have to do to get sleeved requires loads of self control. With all the hoop jumping, such seeing the Nut, attending pre op classes, Surgeon consult, and the psych consult. This all says self Mental and physical tough-ness. The Courage to change in the midst. Versus Diet after diet. Which was doing the same thing expecting a different result. This sleeve surgery is a different thing. A tool. You are on the road to greater health. But self control is already happening for you. I also realize that some people don't get. But, press on toward your goal. . Keep your head up. This is a journey toward better health. Good luck!
