  1. You have to stay on top of this. Don't give up. After you see your Surgeon then find out from maybe the office coordinator or who is in charge of your case what else is needy. and be pro active for your self. We are here for support. Keep us posted. Good luck.
  2. I had surgery and was not awake. Mine was great! My anesthesiologist ask me before I went to surgery what kind of music I wanted to hear. And guess what he played my favorite type of music when I got into surgery. Lol the next thing I remember is waking up. Then a little more pain and I was soon on my way home. My stay will be longer this time but ok. That was my experience. I think you will do fine. Good luck!
  3. I have not submitted to the insurance yet. But, many others have posted on here about their denial experience. You can have your Surgeon or pcp write a letter of medical necessity. You could ask your Surgeon's office to arrange a peer-to-peer review. Make sure it's documented that you meet the requirement. Keep trying. Don't give up. Good luck!
  4. You did an awesome job. Take Care. Speedy recovery.

  19. I chose the vertical sleeve because I didn't want the dumping syndrome. Some studies show that Vsg eliminate the portion of the hormone that produces hunger. But research it for your self. I did not want a foreign body in me. Or the maintenance of the lap band. I watched many you tube video before coming to this forum. I m happy with the choice of Vsg. Good luck.
