I would say that my evaluation was really easier than I thought. It started with a paper check off list. To determine depression or anxiety and so forth. Then like one poster said mine also ask about my marriage, my childhood, and it was kind of funny that she ask if anyone else was heavy in my family. Well No, no else have this issue in my household, but some immediate ones do. She ask about the support after the hospital and what do you know about the procedure. Mine was soooo simple. Even the paper test was just a few check off , not an elaborate test like some. She did lastly, ask me how sure i was about wanting the surgery. also just be honest. She thought I was an emotional eater and recommended me. You will do fine. Relax. Good luck

I told my hubby and children more so the older ones. 1 of them has said that I could try other ways to loose the weight. But, I'm not offended because he is a teenager who is fit a plays sports, so he don't really understand. I'm going to keep on this path til sleeved. I'm doing this for me.

Hi there You are headed in the right direction. I understand how you feel. I am 264lbs and get out of breath as well walking up the stairs in my house. My body well thank God for my hubby acceptance of it. It could be worse. I also was anxious in Last week as this whole process is new to me. So you are not alone. I feel a ray of Sunshine coming my way and yours. Things will improve. Congrats on your surgery date!

Congrats for getting started. It is taking a while at least for me. I went to my first seminar in June and I will seeing my Surgeon in December. Hopefully, I will be sleeved by March. I love this forum feel free to add me as a friend and message me if you want to talk.

Me and my son have migraines. Mine is often. His is after sports. We are finding that adding coconut water or at least hydrate yourself too will help. Here's a prayer to becoming headache free!

Hi Kalimomof3 Thank you sooo much for such good advice! Yep, I won't put this off cause I'm getting more determined to make it happen.. My hubby is supportive but already plan a work event that day before my appointment. I asked him to take vacation when I'm having surgery he said yes. He supported me through a tough knee injury too. At first, I thought this is a way different type of surgery. Major surgery but, it has the commonality of getting Healthy in it. Need advice too anyone My husband is my best support person and only real one right now. My issue I'm pre and will see my Surgeon in December for a surgery date. Im excited to get this close even though surgery may not be til feb or march I'm in the 6 month program. My problem is that, my hubby is schedule out for his job and may not make the appointment in time should I go alone. I'm ok with going alone to the appt. but having him there would be better. I tried rescheduling but the next available Surgeon's appt is in Jan. I'm tired of waiting too. Any positive advice. I love this site and the support

Not use the kids as my remote just because, My back hurt My knees ache I'm tired of being tired And then some. Lol

Well I got asked if I was 7 years older when I joined my local gym. Whaaaat! really, I'm still in my forties not even 50 yet. I mean no disrespect hey when I get their I want to be an avid biker/chick. Lol I have soooo much to accomplish by then Lots of Skinny Sexin. Yea Being an avid biker /chick White Water rafting Vacations with family to say the least being called a hottie And get ask if I'm younger That was the push that I really needed. Oh it's on now, Sleeve me! Lol

I can't wait to not step up and down a 2 step bench at my sons games without being in pain. Sitting down in a chair in public and not have my shirt ride up to show off my big belly. I hate when that happens. Sitting down at work and home without having my back ache. Take a compliment without second guessing it. Have to shop at a Plus size store.
