  1. Hey ladies, I too live in Bakersfield...Are there any support groups exclusively for lap band patients that you know of. Just after I was banded (in 2006) I went to a couple of support groups but everyone had bypass...I was the only lap band there. Would really help if I could get into a support group…I am really struggling…

  4. well, I had my first fill on Thursday...I still dont feel any difference though...I have been drinking shakes, and I actually ate some baby food today because I was really hungry...and I am getting very discouraged. I am scared that this fill didn't do any good.
  5. I am going for my first fill on Thursday...it has almost been a year since my surgery...I hope I will be able to feel the difference.
  6. my dr. said he will push it back a little if I loose the weight and it gets more visible.
  7. I can feel my port, and when I wake up in the morning, it sticks out and you can see a bump where it is, everyone says it is gross. :eek:
