Haven't checked in for a while...I need to do this more but Wednesday marks my 8 weeks and I'm down 63 lbs and 2 jeans sizes and running and playing sports and feeling really good....I have only lost 3 lbs in the last 3 weeks but I think I just need to work on my macros a bit to find the right combination of carbs to Protein to fats

I most likely would have told her that if I wanted her opinion I would have given it to her and then asked for another nurse and to speak with her supervisor. That was a super rude thing for her to say ..

Since January 10 ( my first appointment) I'm down 54 lbs lost 14 since March 6 ( surgery day) very happy today!!!

Just had my first mushy meal!! Puréd chicken, Puréd veg, and Puréd potato.
About half a cup in total, and I am so stuffed!!!

Had my first post op appointment. Lost 27lbs since my pre op appointment. Finally below 300!

@padlrd...that was my husband and he had me in tears at that meeting. Thank you so much for acknowledging that beautiful moment.

I can't wait until I can bend over and tie my shoes without being out of breath
I can't wait until I can shop for cute clothes at stores like Rue 21
I can't wait until I can have no problem keeping up with my 4 year old
I can't wait until I'm able to wear skinny jeans
I can't wait to actually wear shorts and tank tops when I leave my house
I can't wait to wear non-granny bathing suits
I can't wait to be able to fit in the bras they actually sell at Victoria Secrets without having to special order them
Hell I just can't wait to be skinny! :D :D :D

One day soon they will be loose and ready to come off. And the scars are pink underneath! Certainly not gone completely but you will be surprised how good they look! It's the little things right now that bring joy

What would be an ideal weight loss for 6 months post op??

I went by my hospital weight. I honestly lost 3lbs while sleeping one night. I already feel so much better. I feel like I lost my neck. Lol

I've been living on chicken and beef broth, Jello, juice and Popsicles.

Can't wait to use the toilet without doing acrobatics.
Can't wait to buy a business suit and look cute
Can't wait to take my son on a roller coaster and not have to say, oh daddy can take you
Can't wait to buy a bra at Victoria Secrets
Can't wait to have energy to play with my kids after work
Can't wait to wear a bathing suit and not worry about...well you ladies know
Can't wait to make love to my husband like a wild cat
Can't wait to buy a northface jacket and a dress coat without ordering a plus size online
Can't wait to show my daughter how to be confident and have great self-esteem
It really could go on and on but truly CAN'T WAIT TO FEEL COMFORTABLE IN MY OWN BODY

I use Premier Protein. U can get it at Sam's, costco, Walmart and Meijer. It has 30g Protein per serving 1g sugar and 160 calories and comes in a little juice box looking set up. Delicious taste

Yeah, I really appreciate everyone's input. I've decided not to date him. We've known each other for 7 years and lived together for a month while I waited for dorms to open. He knows me inside and out. If he didn't want me while I'm fat, that's fine. Not everybody digs my figure. However, I want someone who loves me for me no matter what. I'm a beautiful person inside and out so--nope. He gets no play. Lol!!

I COMPLETELY understand. I met this guy that ive been playing volleyball this year with since September...I knew he had a girlfriend and once I friended him on FB and he found out I was having this surgery...he has been all over me!! He's so excited about how I'm doing and he said to me that when I was thin (in my college days that are on FB) that I could have been miss America....I was like...what r u saying about how I look now cuz I think I'm still hot! My feelings of it is that I am starting a new life...who says I want old toys. Keep your options open and make him suffer.
