  3. Nope, not yet. What day and times work best?? Friday evenings? Saturday ? afternoon or evening? Sunday?
  4. Maybe everyone doesn't want to list what exact town you live in for privacy reasons. I was just trying to get a general idea on where would be the best place to have an exchange. You don't have to list your exact city, but a nearby town within say 10 miles would be helpful. Chicago and the suburbs are huge. I am from the South West suburbs, way west. Plainfield, Joliet, Bolingbrook, Romeoville area. I am currently an size 10/12, Large/XL tops, size 8/8.5 shoes, 36DD. I got sick and got down to 99 pounds. I am better and staying steady. I have clothes available Size 4 and up. My feet are smaller too. I have shoes from size 8/8.5/9/9.5. I have given away a lot but still have some left.
  5. Thinking of a Chicago land clothing exchange in August. Who is interested and what city are you from?
  6. Let's plan for something in August. We would have to do this at someone's house or at a church. There is no way we could have piles of clothes in a restaurant. Who is in?
  7. I am trying to figure out a central location were we can all meet. What city is everyone from? What day and time would work best for you? I am near Lockport and free weekdays after 6pm, and free Saturdays and Sundays after 11am.
  8. Hello¡ I am in the Chicago Southwest Suburbs.

  10. No sleeve, no lap band. I had the RNY, cannot be reversed. Wish there were other options at the time. I had to do something. My new stomach was 1 oz and never stretched like it was suppose to. Happy to report, now 12 years later, I can eat real food and my new stomach is larger. My body rejects most Proteins and many other foods. This year I am finally no longer underweight and don't have to go in for IV treatments constantly. I have done some permanent damage to my body and organs but I can eat by mouth so life it getting better. I know we all have had our struggles.
  11. I had my surgery over 10 years ago at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.. I have/had a lot of complications which I don't want to scare away anyone pre-op. I too am looking for any support groups other than in the city.
  12. I normally donate everything. I do have clothes from size 4 to 8. Shirts ranging from Small to Large.
