1. Hope your fills went as well as mine. Happy bandiversary
2. Im 4 weeks post op. Went for a fill today. To my surprise I have 4cc since surgery. I added another to make 5. So I am half full. I did a lot of pushing from the table and didn't give into stomach growls (banster hell). Dr was pleased with my progress. Don't think getting fills is bad or bc you are doing bad. They are to help you on this journey and make it easier on you
3. Listen to your body. I had to sit my FH down and say I had surgery but I'm not dead we waited like a week
4. Good luck you guys!!! Congrats on your one month
5. I blended lasagna that had ground beef and Italian sausage. I made my own sauce. It was amazing. I blended chili with a bit of cheese. It was fine. The least the better

13. About 2 years ago I lost about 60 pounds half diet and exercise and the other half on the HCG diet which if any of you have done it know what a treat that diet really is. I put the weight back on. I was depressed and angry. I avoided ppl bc I didn't want them to see me fat again. Then one day I was carring my youngest down the stairs and my ankles started to give out. I thank God for the wall the caught my fall. I saw my sleeping daughter in my arms and cried and cried. Because of my weight and carelessness for my body I almost hurt myself but more importantly one of my babies. Im only 27 that should not be happening. My life as a future fat person flashed before my eyes and how I would not be able to play with my children or care for them. So I made an appt with in 2 days and about a month later I was banded. I made a commitment to myself to get healthy. Commitment to yourself you know when the time its right!
14. I can totally relate. I ate at all my favorite places before my pre op diet. I follow diet to a T. The day before surgery and cut off eating time I panicked and went got a burger and cinnamon roll. I'm not proud of it nor do I recommend it. But it made me realize how crazy my relationship with food was getting. I am a successful at losing. Not keeping it off (until now) stay strong you can do this!! And we are all here every step of the way to support you
15. Banded 12/20 down 21 since surgery for a total of 35. Great NSV yesterday, a Co-worker who doesn't know about my banding came up to me and said "I noticed you've done a great job sticking to your diet and have a lot of determination to do it over the holidays. Is there any advice you can give me a really need to loose weight too." It was such a confidence boost and I told her id be happy to help her and be a motivator to/for her. Hope all of you are doing just as well. Saw this pic and thought I should share. Happy Thursday to all
16. Im torn. Ive had the IUD loved it but scared it may fall out or shift. Ive done the pill also long time ago and no problems however now that I have a crazy hectic schedule im afraid I will forget to take it. Thanks for the imput ladies
17. Id love for my fh and I to have a baby. Keyword in the future. Even though I have been fat my entire life I don't have any problems getting pregnant. I have 2 beautiful girls. Id love to get the IUD but a close friend of mine had it lost 40lbs and it fell out with out her realizing and suprise she got prego. I know everyone is different. I will be checking with my drs next week for their advice. Just wanted some opinions and see what has worked for others.
18. I say wait and this is coming from a woman with the worst case of baby fever ever and I was banded 12/20 (got a long way to go). Not only will you be well into your journey and healthier but also have practiced the will power to eat right during the pregnancy and not gain unnecessary weight.
19. Some encouragement for my fellow December bandsters.
20. Weekends are better for me I work nights. But with advanced notice I can rearrage my hours. I wish I needed to shop however the last time I lost weight pre banding I held on to the clothes. After the next 30 lbs we will definitely need to go shopping!!! Maybe for swimsuits???? Lol. Lets set a date for our first meeting. Happy Monday to all
