Right now it's just treated. I have to go back in 10 days. The pain is constant. But on the good side, right now the shakes taste amazing !

So... Today was supposed to be my last day to eat BUT I've been having tooth ache. I went to the dentist this morning and he had to retreat a tooth that has had a root canal Needless to say, the pain is horrible and my last eating day has turned into day 1 of liquid diet. The journey has officially started and I feel like shirt without the r. (****)

My surgery is June 26 and I too am nervous! My husband is supportive although there are quite a few who aren't. My husband has loved me at my smallest AND my largest. I'm very sure he won't mind the extra skin. Especially if I'm healthier, happier and more confident. Keep working out and drink LOTS of Water. I've read that those things help with toning skin. And don't rush it! These things take time! Congrats and good luck!!!!

Well...today I purchased all my protein drinks for my full liquid diet. 44 of them. I start on Wednesday. I am beyond nervous. But so ready for this to be done.

I work at the hospital where I'm having my procedure. I'm going to tell my doc how miserable I am (lol) and see if he liberalizes it.

Jealous of everyone who get to chew while on their diet. I can have 3 protein drinks and water. Oh wait. And ice. BLAH

I'm start my liquid diet June 12. Only water and protein drinks. That is to shrink the liver for surgery.

No ma'am. We were told if we were DYING, we could have broth or sugar free Jello.

I'm nervous too and I'm not until June 26. I made the mistake of watching the lap band surgery on YouTube. LOL.

I'm having a "last supper"! I start my liquid diet next Wednesday the 12th. On Sunday the 9th, my friends and family are coming over for a big dinner! I'm saying bye bye to all the over eating and bad food choices. It also gives me a chance to let my family know that my habits WILL BE CHANGING and soliciting their encouragement and prayers. A celebration of the new me!!!

Got my date. June 26. I start my per op diet June 12. I'm so ready and so nervous! I'm think I'm going to go ahead and start working with the trainer so that I can be making good habits. At my hospital, you get discounted access to the physical therapy rehab gym and a trainer is there to help you!! Since I'm an employee, I get this for free!!! I'm excited.

Wow 100 pounds that's awesome. The liquid diet is something else I'm worried about. I think I'll start doing one day per week of liquid just to start preparing myself. I want a emotional head start!!! Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

We do have great insurance. I've had Special K shakes and I like them. My doctor wants us to drink the EAS shakes during the 2 week diet. They make me go potty!! LOL Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

If BMI is 50 or greater, there's no waiting period. I was thinking about trying shakes and finding what I like/don't like. And learning to chew more. I am super nervous about being put to sleep. Sent from my iPhone using LapBandTalk

Hi. My ball is rolling and I'm hoping to band in December. I'm so nervous and getting lots of mixed feed back. How did you prepare for your surgery !?!?! Did you diet or enjoy eating while you still could LOL
