  2. Congratulations! Being scared is completely normal! I wish you all the luck! I'm 7 weeks out and super happy with everything, although that first month is mentally tough:)
  3. My babies were 5.2, 7, and 6 PDs... All pre wls for no reason, all healthy
  4. And what do I do when I'm depressed? Eat! At least until a 7 wks ago lol, so kinda mad I don't have my old crutch and trying to find a new healthy one!
  5. ive had a tough few days too. They said in the news this is the most depressing time of the year. Everyone's broke from Xmas, bills are coming in, the weather is crappy, not following through with new ears resolutions etc...just want jan to end lol
  6. I didn't t tell anyone for those exact reasons! Then when you do start loosing weight, there's "some reason" other than your own hard work. People always wanna hear it was ww, Jenny Craig, or some diet pill... Or wls.., as opposed to our own hard work. We could all screw this up to if we didn't try. But somehow having a "reason" for others downplays our own hard work, while substantiating to them why they couldn't do it.
  7. I am thinking of you! I struggle with coping mechanisms too, I used the old ones for so long, we can feel lost at times. I pray tht you and all of us can finally find a healthy way to cope!
  8. Not so much ask me, but say in their opinion.... Lol. That's fine, anyone can question all they want. It's my body, my life experiences, my journey. I bet if you asked them if they could reverse their procedure at 200 PDs and do the rest themselves, they would/ could not. ( if it were possible lol). Most on here are very supportive though, except perhaps those that have had complications themselves. And in those instances I can sympathize and understand why they would be anti wls with low bmi....
  9. Sigh why couldn't I just be Spanish lol
  10. Good for you! I am a low bmi too, but do you know what? At a bmi of 32 I was still obese. Now I have lost 30 PDs in 7 wks and am officially just overweight! I can't wait to be normal! Lol
  11. I have an English mastiff too. Aren't they just the cutest? Big ol' teddy bears;)
  12. Oops lol I confess I don't track food Like I should, but I always measure. I confess that I am excited about what's to come but nervous in the same breath. I confess that I love my family, my kids r in bed, my husband is working, and I feel like the loneliest girl in the world tonight. Hormone change or denied reality?
  13. I confess I am 7 wks out and love my plication.
  14. I had a bad cold that time too and took what I needed to. NyQuil and the doc gave me some cough medicine with codine in it:)
  15. So did you find any discoloration on your hands elbows knees?
  16. I'm still wondering too. And there are lotions you can buy that are... Tinted? But I don't want to waste the money if it doesn't work it washes off in Water lol
