  1. How do you block on iPad?
  2. What I said was silly is that you asked or implied that I forgot I did that stage. No need to be so touchy. It was a genuine question and I appreciate your feedback. I ended it by saying our drs must be different. Certainly did not deserve your response.
  3. Just thought I would let you know that I know someone who got band over 500lbs and has lost over 250.
  4. I did mushy foods but not puréed. Like I said I ate tuna, chicken, beans things like that. I was told to let my teeth purée. I did not miss a stage that is just silly. I guess our doctors just have different views.
  5. This is a serious question and not a dig at anyone. Is it really good to blend all your foods for mushy? My dr had me eat things like chunk light tuna, canned chicken, beans. I never was told to blend anything excpet for soups when I was on liquids. If you blend isnt it doing most the work you are supposed to be teaching your teeth to chew?
  6. Sometimes that can be headhunger.
  7. I am confused. Seems if you are eating just one meal a day you have too much restriction.
  8. Yeah I am with line. Maybe your expectations are off.
  9. Great thread! I am still figuring out what works for me since my last fill.
  10. Don't know what my BMI was but I was 330 time of my surgery.
  11. I think a lot of people expect something specific and maybeits not the right expectation to begin with"
  12. Don't think the size matters or affects the fills.
  13. Het Jerz you may not feel a big difference yet but you have to be patient till you get back on solids. Usually after fills you from liquid to mushy to solid and then eat good solid high protein foods.
  14. 2.99 Richmond, VA (711 @ Insbrook )
  15. You can also try 2 percent cheese. I hate fat free cheese.
  16. Looks awesome but where is the sodium coming from?
  17. http://drsimpson.net/fills/Lap-band-eating/lap-band-not-restriction/lap-band-and-restriction.html
  18. If those 220 calorie slim fast are part of the total calories then you you need to make some changes. . you should be getting your calories from solid foods.
  19. I don't know the answer to the zone question but start off by trying to eat something small first don't ever force it but it's very important that you get down solids. It is very unhealthy to not eat at all.
  20. Thank you to anyone who joins this site. I can not wait to share recipe and food ideas with everyone. Please bare with me while I figure this group thing out and please advise if you know what I should do as well.
  21. Omg I posted about Atkins wonder where it went. Saw her on Anderson Cooper this morning.
  22. I am long time banded but just started getting fills again. I had a fill last Monday and I did get a bit faint feeling and had to sit down before I could leave. It was 10 30 and I also had not eating so not sure if that had anything to do with it. They also told me the bill amount and maybe it was that too lol. I noticed my fill right away and everything I thought I knew about my band has changed and I am learning all over again.
  23. I have started mixing my protein powder in sf pudding sometimes also with pb2. Its very very thick and I find it much more satisfying then a shake but still not too heavey if I dont feel up to food.
  24. I love this thread! Thanks so much for starting it!
