​Welcome and congratulations on getting the band. It's the best thing I ever did for myself. This morning my husband said I look much thinner but the tape measure didn't say it.
We are all here to listen and help and we do not judge, or at least most of us don't.

you have done amazingly. I got this also because I was borderline diabetic. My whole family has it and I did not want that at all. I've lost 40lbs and I barely see a difference. It's not much yet, but I can see what you mean. It takes a lot of emotional self searching and concurring, probably the hardest of it all. I know at least it is for me. Good luck on your journey.. you seem like a really sweet, carefree person and can't wait to hear more of your success

Great post Kime-lou. I've gotten myself in trouble a few times b/c of my need to defend who & what I believe in. I've apologized and learn to block.
Not only is the band a learning process, but learning social media is too.
Sometimes someone can be coming off as rude and uncaring when that is the farthest thing from that persons intent.
I personally get great joy sharing what works for me or things I've experienced. I would not be here if it was only to pick out ppls mistakes. That is not what makes me happy.

Good for you seeing the doctor. They are there for us the whole way. I hope you don't need to have surgery to repair the band. One thing I have learned from this site and from other banders, call the doctor.

Thanks for sharing.. I think that would be one of my hardest things to grasps once I am at restriction or the spot I should be at. I eat when watching t.v.. on the comp.. etc. need to pay attention more! I don't want to go through that.

i dont have a fill but reading posts for some time on this forum, you sound like you maybe too tight...you need to be able to drink/eat...please see your dr its important to you.

Sounds as if you are too tight. I do know from my own personal experience that when I was sick my band became tighter and I had problems but mine did loosen back up on its own, I have been too tight one time and your symptoms sound very similar to mine, I required a small unfill. Maybe call your surgeon or PCP on Monday and see what they see. Being to tight is not good for you or your band. Good luck and I hope things get better soon, it is miserable to be too tight.

You need to eat and drink, especially with congestion. Call the doc on Monday and keep drinking whatever you can!
