  1. contact www.wlsappeals.com - they helped me get my band removal and sleeve conversion 100% covered at a lower bmi. it is a free phone call and they are super helpful (and saved me the $20,000 out of pocket cost of a sleeve that my dr insisted would not be covered). because the removal was necessary, you can get the conversion 100% covered as long as you request coverage before you remove the band. my dr waits 3 months between removal and conversion, but the key was to request ins approval for conversion when requesting coverage for removal in order to get both converted. hope this helps.
  2. i was sleeved on dec 19, 2018 and just got confirmation that my sleeve was not shaped properly. it's hour-glass shaped and too large at the bottom half
  3. Anyone use Dr. Murr? Would love to know about your experience with him. Thanks!
  4. Has anyone here used him? If so, what was your experience like? Thanks, Jen
  5. Anyone get sleeve surgery and find out their surgeon made their sleeve too big? How did you determine that? Did you get re-sleeved? Did re-sleeving make you more successful? Thanks!

  7. when my dr removed my band, she accidentally left a stitch in my stomach that caused my stomach to create a little pouch that would trap food and cause awful reflux for 3 months

  17. There was no confirmation. I think most doctors assume three month is long enough to heal if there are no symptoms

  19. I gained about 8 pounds between Band and sleeve. I'm not on solids yet, so I'm hungry a lot, but 4oz does satisfy me for an hour or two
