  1. Today is day 1 for my full liquid stage in my post op diet. I only remember that my Doctor said cream of wheat and yogurt and I think he said cream Soup. What else can I have on full liquid stage. I tried yogurt today and I just took Greek yogurt and mix it with Protein powder ( Cookies and cream) it was like ice cream but I wasn't able to eat more then 3 tea spoon. later on I remember my favorite lassi and add the Water to it and blend and I was able to finish this drink. what other choices I can have on full liquid stage of post op diet. THANK YOU.
  2. I am as well side/stomach sleeper I was able to sleep on right side from day 4 and on the left one only since last night, but what I did. How I started: I take king size pillow and put it behind my back, so when I am laying on it so it like you are laying on the back but because of the pillow it is more like on the side. and yesterday I was able to put it on the side of my stomach and hug it., ( like I used to sleep with pregnancy pillow) so your stomach is laying on the pillow and you are on your side. Yesterday was the first night when I was able to sleep through the night for 5 hours. all previous nights I was sleeping for 3 hours and after need to walk for an hour and sleep again.

  8. Thank you for all your reply. I just want to tell that I didn't fill discourage. I just trying to understand if I do everything right. I still have a little demon in my mind who is saying to me you can do the same without the surgery. I mean 5lb per week on clear liquid.and I am trying to prove myself that this time it will not be only 10 months and everything would be back. I am such a person who has the goal and go to it knocking almost everything on my way but only if I have support. as soon as I start loosing the support I start loosing the hopes. So this site is very important to me. you are my support group.

  10. as some of you know I had a surgery on September 7. Recovery is good. Have minor acid Reflux but I am on Zantac. Burping slow down and became much better. still have problem sleep at night but this is another story. I am loosing very little weight. I know that we cannot compare ourselves to others, but I do. I know it was a lot of us who did the surgery around the same time. and I read that some lost 10-12lbs for the first week. I weight myself today 1 post op week and I only lost 4.8lbs. Am I doing something wrong? I am walking everyday 30-40 min. I am taking almost all my Protein I should ( 55-65g) and drinking my 50-64oz of liquid intake( including protein). but my scale doesn't want to make me happy with low number. I understand that probably my metabolism is just sleeping and now it's is waking up.... but I always thinking might be I am doing something wrong? I really expected to see a bit bigger number for the first week.
