Any September People
are you on full liquid? I just want to share what I am using instead of rtd shakes. Ok here is my math. I drank atkins advantage shakes which is 160 cal /15g protein per 11 oz. and after surgery I cannot handle to drink 4 of them a day. ( btw 4*160 = 640cal only on shakes ) so as soon as I can have greek yogurt. I start doing lassi. and I get my 60g protein per day in jus t2 cup which I can handle during the day without a problem. I did the calculation: 1cup of yogurt 0%fat - 140 cal - 24g protein 1 scoop protein powder I use cookes and cream(Oh Yeah! Total Protein System) 210 cal 32g of protein 6g fat less then 2g sugar 1 cup of skim milk 90cal - 8g protein So if I am doing it with skim milk I got 1 serving size 1 cup - 220 cal - 32 g protein and 3 g fat If I am doing it with water it woudl be 1 service size 1 cup - 175 cal - 28g protein 3g fat I usually drink by 1/2 cup and these 2 cups are good for me for the whole day. and I know that I have all my protein intake. and instead of 640 cal on atkins shakes I got only 440cal.

Emergency Band Removal Should I Do Sleeve

Cream Of Wheat
I was allowed Cream of wheat from Day 7 but I need to do it liquefy.

Cream Of Wheat
If you put more milk or Water to make it liquid enough to be able that drink through the straw it is full liquid. ( don't drink through the straw just the consistency) otherwise I think it is soft food. I like oatmeal and put a lot of milk to make my oatmeal as a drink not the sour cream consistency. But if you are allowed to eat soft food already I think they recommend to start with 2 table spoons.

What Is The Portion Size?
I am going to the doctor tomorrow and going to ask. about calories intake. Look like I am eating around 600-650 cal per day. Is that a lot? I think 440 out their my protein shakes. and another 200 oatmeal and cream soup.

What Is The Portion Size?
Guys, what is the portion size per meal? I can drink up to 5 oz of liquid ( shake/water/lassi) OR I cat eat 4 oz of soup/oatmeal I am still on the full liquid diet so my Soup and oatmeal the liquid so I can drink it with straw if I am allowed to. So I wonder if I am eating a ok amount per meal? might be it is too much? I am not loosing weight as fast as others. and there is one more question: are you always cold? I always feel cold or freezing even if the temperature in the house 77F. Is that normal? It sound crazy but I am wearing the coat or sweater in the great warm weather.

My Fellow 9/4 (Or Last Week) Sleevers - How Are You Doing ?
Hi, everyone. I was sleeved at 9/7 so far I am doing good. my problem is I am not loosing weight. for the 1st week after surgery I only lost 4.8lbs. after I started the full liquid last Friday I start having the heartburn. and my zantac didn't help. about shake ideas: I bought Cookies and cream Protein powder, so I take 1 cup of greek yogurt 140 cal 22g protein + 1 cup of skim milk 90 cal 9 g protein ( or Water -90 cal) + 1 scoop of powder ( 210 cal 32 g protein) Blend it in the blender and enjoy your cookie and cream lassi I LOVE THIS lassi. Also girls I have another question: how many oz can you get at once per meal? I notice that I can drink up to 5oz OR I am eating 4oz of soup /oatmeal per meal. Is it a lot? not a lot?

Scared And Confused
you sound exactly like me 4days post op. I even send email to my surgeon. and never get back from him) but what i can tell you. I am still don't fell when I am full ( already 9days post op) . I can drink around 5 oz per eating. I bought the special measuring bowl so I can manage how much I ate because I don't feel full. Today was the first day when I feel hungry. I drank Isopure hoping it would go away. it would a bit but still wouldn't mind to eat something. I will go for my 1week follow up on Tuesday and will ask all this questions.

Full Liquid - What To Eat?
So ricotta is in the blended version is ok for full liquid? this is what is stopping me. to prepare the cream soup I need half and half ( base on the instruction) but I think it is too much for me now. Also I have now idea if I am lactose intolerant I never was before but I read that I could be after.... so I need probably to try the milk first to make sure.
