My tentative date was 10/15, then changed to 10/01, final date 09/25. I'm so glad there is someone with the samedate... makes me feel like i'm not alone. I'll hear aboutr my pre-op diet tuesay... pretty sure it's the same as you though I have some protein shake now. What all did they say you could have preop?

I recieved my letter with all my preop appointments in the mail Saturday evening. They changed my Date to 09/25/12 ... my first lab appointment is 09/11, I also find out about my preop diet then, and my class is 09/13... At one times it seemsed like everything was dragging... now I feel like it's all down hill ... I'm excited and a bit nervous.

After many stalls my paperwork was finally submitted yesterday! I was reviewing my claims online and I saw the approval for my surgery already! Tentative date of October 15!! Unfortunately that isn't a good time for me at all... so I'll talk with my surgeon and see if we can bump it up. If not I'll take what I can get!

I spoke with the lady from the psych eval... she said she would "try" to get the paperwork sent sometimne this week. What?? This week?? I advised her my insurance coordinator has been waiting ofr this last piece of information for over a week and if she could sent it ASAP it would be greatly appreciated. I didn't know what else to do! This process has been stalled several times becasue of drs taking vacations and I'm trying to get this surgery scheduled as soon as I can.

Thanks everyone, I recieved a call from my coordinator just now. She is still wiaitng for my pysch eval paperwork from last Thursday. I called the office & they informed me the psychologist is on vacationuntil next week. What in the world! She knows I'm hanging on wiaitng for this paperwork and she didn't sent it?? Another hurtle I guess. I was just hoping to hear something before the weekend.

Thanks guys! I just sent her an email. Hopefully I'll know more tomorrow.

I had my last appt Thursday the 9th. My surgeon advised me to call the coordinator on Monday. She said she was still waiting on a letter from my PCP and my last appointment. I advised her of the date of the appointment, she said it would be a few days to get the paperwork in. Called my PCP they said they sent the letter on the 8th... they called her and left a message. I also called the coordinator and left a message asking for a call if she needed anything else. As of today no one has heard from her. I'm hoping this is a good sign. The wait is driving me crazy.

I had my psych eval today. This was the last appointment then they submit it all to my insurance. They said about 72 hours for review once they receive it. Is it normal to be so nervous? My surgeon said everything looks fine, shouldn't be an issue but I'm so anxious. I feel like I've got so much that I want to do but I still need to wait for the authorization. I'm just impatient I guess. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something. Here's to hoping I don't drive myself crazy.

HI!! I've been following this site for a few months, since I've started on my Sleeve quest. I am down to my Psych eval appointment on Thursdy 8/9 and then it goes in to my insurance for approval. I figured to start on with my new journey, that included meeting new friends... and what better friends than ones that have been through all the obstacles you are trying to conquer. You guys are all role models and show the beginners (me included) that this may be a difficut journey but with the right tools you can do it!! NO EXCUSES! Thank you!!
