  1. My first week I lost 13 lbs.. My diet is pretty the much the same as yours. I am amazed at how fast I get full when taking about 3 bites of soup. I really noticed today how much I am losing. I wore a pair of pants that I hadn't had on since back in the spring. They were really loose. Hope you week is going well. D

  3. That is a totally opposite opinion on vitamins than what my Doctor has. I am sure some of your energy problems is from low vitamin intake. Hope you feel better soon.

  10. Deb, when you have a sleeve done they sugerically remove part of the stomach. This reduces the size of the stomach. One of the biggest pros to a sleeve is you don't have as much danger as you would with a gastric bypass with malabsortion of Vitamins. It is done laproscopically also. You have a higher precentage rate of weight loss witht the sleeve also. The best thing you can do is look up all info on all the surgeries or ask at the bariatric center you have chosen for more information. Good luck in chose. Debbie
  11. My Dr. has me on protein low carb diet the two weeks before surgery. They should tell you soon what they want you to eat on your pre op diet. Good luck. My surgery is the 17th. I am so excited!
