I had my last appt Thursday the 9th. My surgeon advised me to call the coordinator on Monday. She said she was still waiting on a letter from my PCP and my last appointment. I advised her of the date of the appointment, she said it would be a few days to get the paperwork in. Called my PCP they said they sent the letter on the 8th... they called her and left a message. I also called the coordinator and left a message asking for a call if she needed anything else. As of today no one has heard from her. I'm hoping this is a good sign. The wait is driving me crazy.

Email her. I kept after mine until she finally emailed me back saying the paperwork was submitted.

Ditto to KZBEN's suggestion. My coordinator never called me back if I had a question, but she always responded right away to email! If you still get no response, drive her crazy with emails and voice messages. You know what they say about the squeeky wheel!

Thanks guys! I just sent her an email. Hopefully I'll know more tomorrow.

I agree on the no return calls from the coordinator, but she did respond to emails.

I had to go to the office mngr. I had to call the insurance and got the approval put into the system over the phone during the same call!!! I couldn't wait for my coordinator to continue to get paid for not providing a service apparently I wasn't the only one and heads are now turning in the office. I digress I am glad I am in no way bashful or intimidated by others lack of movement ;()

Thanks everyone, I recieved a call from my coordinator just now. She is still wiaitng for my pysch eval paperwork from last Thursday. I called the office & they informed me the psychologist is on vacationuntil next week. What in the world! She knows I'm hanging on wiaitng for this paperwork and she didn't sent it?? Another hurtle I guess. I was just hoping to hear something before the weekend.

Hang in there. I know the wait is frustrating. I had a similar problem with the insurance coordinator. She is basically the gate keeper and refused to return my calls. So, I started emailing and calling every.single.day. I was never mean or anything, always nice and chipper. I honestly think she got sick of my sweet as sugar messages that kindly reminded her that it was my 5th or whatever call. LOL

same hear - coordinator never returned my calls - so I emailed and started putting 'read receipts' on the emails - then I would call about 2 hours after I knew she had read the email. it's very frustrating....

I spoke with the lady from the psych eval... she said she would "try" to get the paperwork sent sometimne this week. What?? This week?? I advised her my insurance coordinator has been waiting ofr this last piece of information for over a week and if she could sent it ASAP it would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't know what else to do! This process has been stalled several times becasue of drs taking vacations and I'm trying to get this surgery scheduled as soon as I can.
