  8. Just had my surgery on the 15th, at first I couldn't even hardly swallow sips of water and now all of a sudden almost a whole protein shake goes down. I also was able to eat a whole yogurt, some soup, and decaf tea is my new best friend. My question is, am I drinking too much? Is it odd that I can eat a whole yogurt?? Just want to make sure I'm not hurting my self, any feedback would be great!!!!!
  9. I had surgery on the 15th, I stayed an extra day in the hospital because I couldn't get the fluids down enough. I discovered hot tea is my savior, this morning I woke up with both of my hands and arms asleep, my left arm is still acting up, surgeon said I probably slept weird to protect my belly, odd... Anyone have more choices for fluids?
  10. Congrats, awesome, I just got sleeved on 8/15, how did u go though the liquid stage? I need advice please??
  11. My surgery was 8/15, thanks I'm struggling with keeping track but I'm loving warm tea, it's my new best friend (:

  16. No restaurant issued here but for the first time last year, I needed an extension belt on the airplane and that killed me
  17. My surgery I'd this Wednesday as well, 30 hours away... I totally sucked during my pre-op, I did not lose any weight, I have PCOS which slows my metabolism down crazy, I also only did shakes during the day and ate a meal at night, now I'm sooo close and definitely only doing liquids today but dreading my mistakes ):
  18. I am that girl, I alwaysss said, "why would they take the easy way out, that's not for me, blah blah blah", now here I am thirty hours from my surgery thinking, why didn't I do this years ago? I couldnt even fast the two weeks before because of the hunger pains do for people to say," why don't you eat like you have the surgery"? I can now say, " well because I don't have a tiny stomach therefore I would suffer for Hunger pains daily"!!! People are ignorant as I was for too long, now I know this surgery is for me and I will be a happier and healthier person and I busted my ass to get there!!!! Keep in mind that when WLS became popular, many people who clearly weren't even obese did get surgery for cosmetic reasons and for fast results this is why most insurances are so strict now!!!
  19. My big day is this Wednesday and I have not been able to fast. It's been really hard for me and I will tomorrow to prepare for surgery but I hope I'm not hurting myself? I did shakes in the morning and a meal at night, any feed back??
