  2. Shane, that's awesome! good luck with the ride!
  3. I was sleeved Aug 28th and am down exactly 50 lbs. Weigh 136! my goal is 130!
  4. I lost 18 lbs lickety split after surgery. It'll slow down and then speed up all through the process. I'm 3 1/2 months out and have been experiencing rapid wt. loss just out of the blue. Not doing anything any different either. It just comes off faster at periods of losing...
  5. pretty normal, glad you went with the sleeve instead of bypass. You won't be sorry...
  6. Hope you'll be back up to par soon...
  7. Hair falling out badly!

  10. I ate everything I could get my hands on before the liquid diet started!
  11. I was sleeved Aug. 28th 2012 and am down 49 lbs! Losing went slow ti.ll I reached the 3 month mark. I'm 7 lbs from my primary goal. My first goal is 125 lbs. I would be happy if I didn't lose any more. I feel great. I am so thankful I was able to be sleeved. I'm wearing younger, cute, clothes now. My husband is tickled to death about how I look, but kinda nervous about other men looking at me! But that'll keep him on his toes LOL! That's all for now. Thanks for reading my jumbled thoughts...
  12. That's the -cutest way i've ever heard someone say " I need to @#&$" LOL!
  13. You look great. I'm 3 1/2 months out and have lost 48lbs. Started off at 186 now at 138. You look awesome, I feel awesome...
  14. you'll be fine, it's the best thing I every did. I'm 3 1/2 months out and have lost 48 lbs... Everything went fine, I went to Tijuana as well and had no problems. I"m a nurse and I was impressed with the care I received.

  16. Reached my Christmas day challenge this morning! Will change my goal to 135lbs for Christmas... Surgery weight-186 current weight- 138 just came out of a long stall...
  17. I was sleeved August 28th as well and am down 47 lbs. It has been a big change, but i don't regret it for one minute. I am 14 lbs from secondary goal... If you really want to change your life don't read horror stories. I guarantee there are more success stories than horror stories...
  18. Pasta is hard for alot of people who are sleeve/banded. You may be one of them who can't eat it. It will get better. It's just trial and error to find out what and how much you can eat... Take it slow...Supplement with shakes...Drink plenty of water...
  19. When stressed or real tired (work nights) i can't eat much of anything...
  20. I started off at 186 and am 142 now (3 months out)and do not regret it for one minute. Why wait until you have htn, diabetes etc... to have surgery. Do it before all of that starts! I tried everything to lose and the only thing that has worked is WLS. you won't be sorry....
  21. 3 months out, haven't blogged in a while been very busy working. I've been riding the motorcycle some, doing good with that. Rode into a small town sat. by myself for a sheriff's inspection so I can license it. Didn't have any trouble but was pretty scared. I just have 12 lbs to go to goal so feeling awesome about that. The hairloss has slowed down some (thank God). Feel tired alot lately...Not much else to write, thanks for reading my jumbled thoughts...
