I was the same and had same thoughts. I can not physically put more than a few bites in before I get uncomfortable and feel stuffed. The fear off putting too much in and splitting your stitches thus dying stops you from putting more in. Plus I am never hungry. Ever. Weirdest thing. I was saying last night how I feel free from my addiction. I don't think about food all day long. Also strange. Like my brain was operated on, not my stomach.

I am physically unable to over eat. My new stomach only allows 5 bites.

Lets all calm down. I was simply looking to see what worked for others not to start a verbal war. Enough. I am sorry that this got out of control. Remember our hormones are out of whack so let's agree to disagree. There are far more important issues. I don't side with one or the other but wish you all well along this journey. And whenever you do have sex I hope it is great and doesn't hurt your new belly.

You are mourning the end of a lifelong relationship with food. This is a grieving period. If you are like most moms, you are feeling selfish for doing something for yourself so there is an added level of guilt which you are overcompensating for by being mad at yourself. Subconsciously you are defending yourself from your family from what you think they think about you. You need to stop, breath, rest and remember that it is ok to have these feelings but it is not ok to lash out at them. It will get better but do not be afraid to ask for help if you find the emotions do not go away. Professional counseling can do wonders. In the meantime, we are here for you. Glad you voiced.

2 weeks, Tomorrow is first day back, sleeved Aug 6, last week I was kinda out
of it BUT, FEELING GREAT NOW.
