  1. Lets all calm down. I was simply looking to see what worked for others not to start a verbal war. Enough. I am sorry that this got out of control. Remember our hormones are out of whack so let's agree to disagree. There are far more important issues. I don't side with one or the other but wish you all well along this journey. And whenever you do have sex I hope it is great and doesn't hurt your new belly.
  2. Ok, glad I brought it up. Obviously a hot button.
  3. I'm thinking yes but husband thinks we should wait. Any feedback?

  5. So cute you two! Love seeing a supportive husband and love that you talked about sex. I have more "desire" after one week but my husband is afraid.
  6. My hospital would not release me unless i had a ride home. I am 11 days out and do not feel i could drive yet. It will amaze you how the jiggle of bumps in the road hurt your tummy. I have to put pressure on it while riding.
  7. If you havent yet, get some dresses. They are all I can wear after surgery. You don't want anything on your stomach. And get a bra with no wire. You will have an incision right between your boobs.
  8. My surgery was last Monday. I took two weeks off. Glad I did. Getting bored but get whiped out just showering. I think women have a hard time taking time to heal themselves.
  9. My surgeon is very large. I want to ask him why he hasn't had surgery. Isn't that odd?
  10. Had my breakdown today when my drain fell out and the Dr had me go to hospital. I just kept thinking, "I did this to myself!" We all mourn the old us as we trust we have made a good decision. It doesn't help that I sit herd all by myself all day. All this time alone to think is dangerous. Hugs to you all on this journey. Lol. Maybe thats why they give us so much pain killer-even tho no pain we can dull the crazy in our brain!

  12. The one on my left side was super long and did take a couple of pulls. Pretty sure it was tied around my tonsils. This one was pretty short. Started loosing suction so thought it was broken. I called the nurse on call and she had never heard of it. Doctor hadn't either - first for them. Guess it slipped out of the stitch.
  13. I had two drains out of surgery and one pulled before i left hospital that hurt like hell coming out. This one was under my right boob. Having an xray to be sure nothing left inside.
  14. I was very freaked out. Called my hubby home and actually did Lamaze breathing to calm down.
  15. My drain fell out today while I was in the shower! Scared the hell out of me. Dr says it's ok but has never seen it happen. Hmph.
  16. Well it's about time hu? Good luck. Keep walking.
  17. "Want me to check your strings?" Is our code now. Tee hee
  18. Lol I told mine that is his job from now on. He offers up that service daily so never an issue! Lol.
  19. Yes, you need to check it. At this size I can barely wipe forget check strings! This will get easier every day. I do like not having to think about it. I used to have very heavy periods and only spot for a fee days now. One thing I do know is that I intend to be a heck of a lot more sexually active as the weight falls off so want to make darn sure nothing happens.
  20. I will call Dr today but woke up this morning and the bulb won't hold it's "charge". I squeeze it and it pops back open in seconds. I have emptied it and the line is clear. Anyone else have this problem?
  21. That's awesome! Way to go!
  22. I'm an addict too! LOL. No one else to talk with about all this! You will do fine. Like all the Nuts say, forgive yourself, start over and keep going. Dont let one slip derail the whole train!
