My Drain Fell Out!

My drain fell out today while I was in the shower! Scared the hell out of me. Dr says it's ok but has never seen it happen. Hmph.

Wow!!! That would've freaked me out if that had happened to me.

That would have freaked me out. Glad the doctor said it was fine. At least you don't have to have it taken out now!

Where did you have a drain? I did not have one.

I was very freaked out. Called my hubby home and actually did Lamaze breathing to calm down.

I had two drains out of surgery and one pulled before i left hospital that hurt like hell coming out. This one was under my right boob. Having an xray to be sure nothing left inside.

The one on my left side was super long and did take a couple of pulls. Pretty sure it was tied around my tonsils. This one was pretty short. Started loosing suction so thought it was broken. I called the nurse on call and she had never heard of it. Doctor hadn't either - first for them. Guess it slipped out of the stitch.

wow.. i could just imagine the look on your face when you saw that thing had fallen out!
