  1. Welcome Kelly! At first it is hard to drink a lot b/c of swelling, but everyday will get better. I had a problem with drinking to big of sips at first and had to learn small sips constantly. Jean McMillian author of Bandwagon told me 1oz every 15 mins.and that helped. In 1 wk you will be able to drink close to 64oz. Best of luck on your journey! Post often!
  2. Thanks Missy for sharing your story! Since I'm just starting out, of course I have to follow orders. Real food Nov16! But be sure my first plateau, the book will already been read. I also look up to your advise & support. I bet finally breaking your plateau was a great feeling, congrats!

  6. How much protein are you getting? My Dr would rip me a new one if I was doing baby food or protein shakes. He wants me on real food 3oz protein and then good carbs at every meal. I have a friend who cancels her appt with him b/c she knows he'll yell at her for relying on protein shakes and not real food. I'm suppose to have 60 gr protein a day. Best wishes on your journey!
  7. Congratulations on WL& diabetes! That is awesome! I had a cardiologist like your GP, before banding. Lost 30 lbs, not one freaking word, gain 2 lbs and you would have thought it was 50lbs. It's like , how about some positive reinforcement? Best of luck on your continued journey!
