I Had My Surgery Today!

Very thing ent well. I'm home now. My stomach is very sore when I move. The meds are making me feel groggy.

I started at 443. I lost 11 pounds before I consulted the lap band surgeon. He put me on the meditrim shakes for three weeks where I lost 38 lbs. I'm already at 394 which is 49 lbs lost!

I'm really looking forward to eating real food again. I'm also very exited to see where my new life style will take me.

Cheers

Congratulations! You will feel like you've done thousands of sit ups and the first 48 hrs is the roughest , b/c of swelling and then it gets better & better everyday.

You did great with pre-op and you'll do great post-op too! Follow Drs orders, walk, walk, walk and sip, sip, sip.

Best wishes on your new healthy journey!

Best wishes to you. Walk as much as you are able, and keep sipping. Welcome to banded life! Keep us posted!

Congratulations! You are going to LOVE your band! :)

Day two is over. Clear fluids only. It's weird how drinking feels and how slowly I have to drink. I've had lots of gas pain in my stomach. I've been pacing the floor trying to deal with it. Overall however I think I am doing ok.
