  1. I bought my PB2 at the grocery store. It was in the health market section.
  2. I had my sleeve on 9/12 and I have been trying to mix 1% milk with my protein shakes with milk. Just today I realized that is what was killing my stomach. I thought it was the protein. It is not good. I get really sweaty, and get bad cramps and diaherea. It is horrible
  3. Awwwww, thank you so much!!!! Hope your doing well also!!
  4. So I was sleeved on 9/12, started at 325. After the first week I lost 17 lbs and since then have averaged about 3 lbs a week. I am one month out from surgery today and have lost 27 lbs. I had no complications at all, if it wasn't for these 7 incision sites on my stomach I can't tell I have even anything done. I am excited I have lost that much but I see where people have lost like 40 lbs.
  5. How much weight did everyone lose at one month post op? Just curious.
  6. I thought I would lose weight faster! Is this a normal pace?
  7. Why is it we are not supposed to have caffeine?
  8. Yep! I have found out I can't do breads. I can't eat like a lunch meat sandwich or a pancake, it feels like a giant dough ball plugging up my tummy and it make me feel sick all day! I throw up everytime.
  9. I know all drs have different diets to follow, but reading on here I see mine has been a lot different. Does anyone else have a similar diet? I had no pre op diet, the first few days while in the hospital after surgery I was on a liquid diet. When I got to come home I was on both liquid and purée. , I then had my 2 week follow up appt on sept 25 and have been on a regular diet of whatever I can tolerate.
  10. Somedays I think I would just like to have one day where I could eat everything that sounds good and not worry about how sick it would make me. It has been so frustrating not seeing that damn scale moving!!!
  11. I was able to get all of my protein in pre op, but once I had surgery just the smell of them makes me want to throw up. I have tried several different kinds and it is just to expensive for trial and error. Wish there was just a pill!!!
  12. The last couple of days I have been craving salt! Bacon, pumpkin seeds, nuts, dill pickles. Then today I gained 2 lbs. I knew I would from all the sodium. I can't stand protein drinks anymore since surgery, I know I am not getting near enough. I hope this doesn't last long!!! DEPRESSING!!
  13. I started this journey on 9/12 at 325 lbs. I can't wait to get below 300. I got on the scale this morning and it was 300.4. Ugh!!!
  14. I am 3 weeks post op and have only lost 23 pounds. But I take weekly pictures and today I was looking at the one from the day before surgery to the one today and wow, can I tell a difference!!!!! I wish I would have taken measurements!!!! It is crazy!! I guess I shouldn't depend on the scale!!
  15. I am so excited about getting approved to eat raw veggies and salad, but I forgot to ask if it was ok to eat skins such as apple. Does anyone know? I had my surgery on 9/12 and am on a anything I can tolerate!! So happy!!
  16. Why do I eat so fast??? It makes me afraid I am eating to much.
  17. I don't know if my belly is still swollen or not. I have always been big so it is hard to tell. But I am hoping one day I will just be surprised!!!
  18. Thanks guys!!! It is just so discouraging because I am so big, everything still fits the same. :-/
  19. So discouraged! I lost 17 lbs my first week post op and hardly anything since. I was sleeved on 9/12. Disappointing!!!!
  20. Gettinmeback....how many weeks out are you?
  21. Does the sugar in fresh fruit slow your weight loss like other sugars??
