  1. Are we supposed to watch our sodium intake? I am addicted to dill pickle spears!!!!
  2. I slept on my stomach the first night at the hospital.
  3. I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and my dr released me to eat anything. So no more liquids or purred food. Yesterday I went crazy. I didn't have large amounts of stuff but last night I ate a bowl of cookie crisp. I wish sometimes I would get sick so I wouldn't want some of those foods. Ugh

  5. Thanks!!! I have noticed I take bigger drinks but don't gulp. I didn't know if we were always supposed to sip. I don't feel so bad now.
  6. I just wondered, do we always have to sip drinks forever or was that just right after surgery???
  7. I had sex the 2nd day home from surgery.
  8. The only way I can get it in is to drink decaf tea with Splenda and a lemon wedge.
  9. @Jhoney. I know what you mean. I lost 17 lbs the week after surgery and this week only 1 lb so far. Ugh. I was sleeved on the 12th.
  10. Having your family eat infront of you and smelling and seeing popcorn and you just sipping on your water is awesome!!!! I am 10 days out and the drinking does get easier. Is there anyway you can thin out your protein shake? Maybe it would go down a little better and not feel so heavy. I wish you the very best!!!!!

  12. Had surgery on the 12th and don't get these staples out until tuesday the 25!!!! They are hurting me and bugging me!!! I think it has been to long!!!! OUCH!!
  13. Pb2 is powdered peanut butter. I found in the health market section of our grocery store. It is soooooo good!!!
  14. I ended up with 7 small incisions.

  16. Sometimes you can also have beef. It's a little tastier.
  17. You should probably get ahold of the dr who had done your surgery. Someone maybe a little more familiar with bariatrics. Hope you get an answer soon!!!
  18. I am getting so tired of the protein shakes already!!! Well this morning as I put my scoop of vanilla protein powder in my 8oz of milk, I started digging in my spice cabinet and spotted some cinnamon. Well wouldn't you know, it tastes fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. I sooooooo want a chocolate covered donut!!!!! I am only a week and a half post op and I want a chocolate covered donut!!!!! I know I can't have it but this will power thing is tough!!!!
  21. I have a very hard time trying not to drink while I am eating. When I do make it thru a meal without drinking I have a hard time waiting the 30 minutes after I eat to take a drink. Does anyone else have this problem?????
