I don't sip much anymore, but I can't chug like I used to either. I can take a few big gulps of water when I'm really thirsty, but I fill up much faster than I used to. If I gulp too much I can get temporarily uncomfortable.

Thanks!!! I have noticed I take bigger drinks but don't gulp. I didn't know if we were always supposed to sip. I don't feel so bad now. ;-)

I can drink 8 oz of water pretty quickly & I'm 3 weeks out. But if I drink it too fast I am in pain.

My experience is the same as COSleeveDude. I can drink, but not gulp. Too large of drinks cause me to be a little uncomfortable, but it passes quickly.

I can gulp a lot, but not chug a bottle of water like pre-sleeve.

Good question shelly...I'm so tired of sipping and have been wondering the same. The thing I miss most is chugging some cold water!

I just posted a thread yesterday that i can take 2 gulps now. I'm 5 weeks out. I never was a chugger, but those tiny sips drove me nuts. Now i can def take in more. :-)
